Where is Garrett Bischoff and the Harris brothers? How bout Erik Watts and David Flair? Brian Lawler? I'm guessing Scott Steiner and Jim Cornette are out for some reason. Also you can't have a Hall of Fame without Vince's limo driver and Koko B Ware in it.

Justin's list is pretty comprehensive, though missing the celebrity wing (for which I nominate former TNA tag-team champion Adam "Pacman" Jones).

Other candidates: Let us never forget the 3 weeks "Gifted" Glen Gilberti was treated as a legitimate World Title threat, or the time Dusty Rhodes caught future hall of famer Puppet beating off in a trashcan. Mortimer Plumtree gave us wrestling penises (penii?), and the Sinister Minister beheaded Raven with poor clipping skills.

5 years ago, Chris Harris was getting groomed as the next homegrown main eventer, getting the mystery slot in Slammiversary's World Title match, and if I needed to bet money on an inaugural Mount Rushmore of TNA HOFers, it would have been Styles / Jarrett / Sting / Harris. Months later he swallowed Cheex whole and waddled out of town. A shame.

Styles gets the first induction because TNA typically cycles into its "AJ Styles - the FUTURE of our industry!" every year around this time. We'll ignore the fact he's 35 years old and a 13 year pro, his time is coming!

Never Inducted but Never Forgotten: Evil Goateed Hawaiian Shirt Wearing "Shooter" Tony Schiavone, cracking weight jokes at Percy Pringle's expense and swearing like a sailor at Mike Tenay.

This company has been in existence for 10 YEARS! How can they already have a Hall of Fame?

Better question: Is there a better inaugural inductee than Puppet the Midget Killer and his masturbatory trashcan?

Let's pretend none of us watched the show. (For most of us, this won't be pretending!) Could we please get ANY context at all which may reveal the point of this thread?

They announced tonight that they will be announcing the first inductee to the TNA Hall of Fame at Slammiversary, so I guess JustinShapiro's list is his thoughts on potential candidates.

You would think it would be Jarrett. I am ok with TNA having their own HOF since Vince has zero desire to build one. I'd also go with AJ as well, but I think that maybe too soon for some of the fans mind for AJ.

Brooke, in my opinion.

She revolutionized the Knockout's division last night with that awe-inspiring speech.

-Dixie Carter at the #1 spot (and she legit cries at the honor)
-Jeff Jarrett
-Jeff Jarrett's Collection of Awesome Non-Wrestling Shirts
-Ken Shamrock's Sideburns
-Gran Apolo
-Ron Killings Feuding With Cigarette Addiction
-An audio clip of Mike Tenay saying "Rellik is Killer spelled backwards!" (the audio clip, not Tenay or Rellik)
-Suicide (inducted by Daniels and Kazarian)
-Cheex
-The Six-Sided Ring
-AJ Styles, but not his weird torso tattoos, and they specifically mention that the tattoos aren't in the Hall of Fame and Styles is all "What? Why mention that?" and Hogan just kinda shrugs and says "Just readin' what's on the cards, brah."

TNA should immediately induct Bruno Sammartino, Randy Savage, and then Ric Flair. Confuse the hell out of everyone.

This is also gives Ric another piece of jewelry to hock to pay his mounting bills.

Yeah, it's way too early for them to be making a HOF. Unlike WWE, they don't have any retired, homegrown stars or legends who're associated with them more than WWE/F or WCW. Odds are its going to be guys like Sting, Jeff Jarrett, and a few of the old guys on the Slammiversary poster who did a couple TNA shows in the past and aren’t on good terms with Vince McMahon. Oh, and Hogan. He has to get on the PPV somehow. I can see Hogan appearing on Slammiversary showing off his TNA HOF ring moments after his and Dixie's MSG press conference is revealed to be the #1 Moment in TNA history.

WWE has trouble coming up with 2 big names every year for their hall of fame and have at least two completely weird inductees every year, and that's with nearly every big legend wanting to be inducted. I can just imagine how rinky dink and random the TNA HOF is going to look after a couple years.

If this is starting Slammiversary weekend, they sure waited long enough to announce this.

WWE has a desire to build one, they're just trying to convince a municipal government to pay for it.

Jerry Lynn, and the Jarretts and maybe Sting would be my picks. Styles and others have hopefully many more years in the business. I suspect Hogan, Sting, Bischoff and Dixie get into the TNA Hall of fame.

HOLY SHIT!!! ITS BIZZARO WORLD ! Guerreros del Ring pretty much sucked this week while IMPACT delivers. WHAT WORKED: -Opening AMW vs. Naturals match was fine. Somewhat disappointing in that I expect better from them.
