Well, one episode left. Gotta say I'm glad. This show has been a chore to watch the last two years. The Medical Mystery of the Week is so shoehorned at this point. Nobody care about some kid hearing his dead brother's voice. It is all about House and Wilson.
So Wilson is dying and House can't deal. Foreman tries playing nice by giving him so B-Ball tickets, because you know he's BLACK. House uses them to clog the toilet and apparently the hospital staff is ill equiped to deal with things like water and the toilets flood until the ceiling caves in and destroys the MRI machine. This makes solving the Case of the Week difficult but proves more important later as it turns out it violates House's probation and he's going back to jail.
Nevermind the fact that he tried to MURDER a patient in the SAME episode.
Next week: the series finale entitled "Everybody Dies". Do they?
I gave up on the show, but I'll watch the last episode for closure.
Last season's finale felt like a proper series end, and I was curious how they'd get House back to the hospital. But that season premiere went nowhere and offered nothing new. We stopped when the young assistant's story ended.
The one thing they needed to do for that character is the one thing they wouldn't -- cut off the leg. End the pain, get House past the albatross of his muscle loss.

I've been a huge fan of this series since it started, and even I'll admit that some of the storylines were monumentally far-fetched, but that said, I'm REALLY going to miss this show once it ends.
I'm going back to the call I made earlier in the season in a HOUSE thread. House is going back to prison. House pissed off a prisoner there and pretty much started a riot. Said prisoner is likely still there and I predict will kill House. As show creator David Shore said himself, "we don't do happy endings"

You did. Amber Tamblyn (who played annoying as hell med student Martha Masters) and Kal Penn will be back too. Not sure how you get a dead guy into the show, but we'll see.

reportedly Jennifer Morrison (Cameron), Amber Tamblyn (Masters), Kal Penn (Kutner), Jesse Spencer (Chase), and maybe Olivia Wilde (13) but for her every article said she would appear but they didnt say she wold also appear in the next to last. so I dont now if they ment that one and the finale or just the one
P.S. I guess I was the only one who liked Masters :(
Mass horrible. Prior to her I'd liked every team member to some degree (though when Foreman and 13 hooked up they were pushing it). Yi is as bad if not worse. I think both of them were just too wimpy and chicken whereas previous team members could challenge House in some way.
Cutting off the leg is a brilliant idea. That's how I'd end the show. With Wilson's final words being "Stop hurting yourself." House chops off his leg and calls in the team as he passes out. Final scene show house getting ready to run with one of those cool prosthetic legs, facing a new life.
You get a happy ending, but not House and Cuddy with a white picket fence.

Agreed. He was my favorite team member because he was actually FUN and didn't have a ton of baggage...well minus that whole suicide thing.
Thread ahead: GOSH! Napoleon Dynamite cancelled (Bob's Burgers saved...sort of) Next thread: SportsNation overhaul (potentially) incoming Previous thread: Game of Thrones 2x7 - "A Man Without Honor"
Malcolm McDowell is the perfect bit of casting, plus they kept the theme. Zombie hasn't quite won me over as a director yet but I'm willing to give this a shot. I'm in.
