There were 11 people in my theater for Dark Shadows. Everyone else was in the 6 adjacent theaters supporting that little indie art house film The Avengers.

Maybe I should have been there with them. Not maybe.

The entire budget of Dark Shadows must have gone to Tim Burton's Verizon bill because he totally phoned it in.

I was on the fence about this one, wife wants to see it, I am/was indifferent. After reading your review, I'll have to pass. Unless the lovely Eva Green is sexy enough to be worth at least a matinee showing.

I wish I could say that this film won't do well financially being released so close to The Avengers... I really do.

I'll say this, it's the most Gothy-ess McGoth thing since Bauhuas formed. Maybe that's an overstatement but it was just so cliche. I fell asleep partway through.

Eva Green was pretty good in it I will say. Never heard of her till now. Not sure if she makes the film matinee worthy however.

The wife was seething during the trial, but laughed at the end. Slowly, she is starting to want to see it. Thank God for the baby.

You night remember her as Vespa Lynd in the newer Casino Royale. She's the only reason I'll watch that movie when I see it on tv. She's the only thing good in that movie, which for a Bond flick, is probably the most boring of the franchise.
