Former WWF superstar The Ultimate Warrior is creating a buzz in the media with his upcoming reality series titled "The Warrior Show". According to a Tuesday November 22nd report by Kikaxemusic.com, Warrior released a video preview of his show on Tuesday morning hyping up the extreme approach he takes to training and motivating others. The official FaceBook page for "The Warrior Show" describes the upcoming reality series as ''an extreme motivational mind/body/soul work-out combining intensity, passion, comedy and inspiration.''
The first episode of Warrior's show is titled "Asking Alexandria" but the full release of the episode is still being determined. The show is directed by Sumerian Records' Ash Avildsen and Frankie Nass is the video director.
From the short preview, the show looks like it has potential as The Warrior has spent a lifetime in the gym and has a wealth of experience in the fitness world. Additionally, his intensity and personality would make for some entertaining moments. However, I would prefer to see The Warrior switch roles with Jesse Ventura and do a show on conspiracy theories. Warrior has a unique perspective on political matters, and if he channels his former WWF promos, the show would be riveting.
... Redneck Island takes 12 red, white and blue-collared Americans out of the South, far away from cold beer, and drops them in a tropical paradise where they will compete for $100,000.
As part of his development deal, Austin will look to produce additional series for CMT with his production company, Broken Skull Ranch Productions.
"I am thrilled to join the CMT family and for the opportunity to work with them on future projects," Austin said. "If there's one thing I know, it's how to keep a bunch of rednecks in line. And that's the bottom line!"
Redneck Island begins with 12 men and women competing as teams in a fight for $100,000 cash. From a remote location, Austin will guide the contestants through a number of hilarious mental and physical challenges designed to celebrate the group's strengths and limitations. At the end of each episode, teammates will send one competitor packing.
Considering the job Austin did with Tough Enough, I'll certainly give it a shot. All he has to do is trash-talk the contestants like they were McMahon, and I think I'd be happy.

Austin: That's seven votes, that's enough, time for y'all to go. (Austin takes the losing contestant's can of beer - beer is life in this game) Those pieces of trash have spoken.
- KICK, WHAM, STUNNER -
Austin pours the beer over the loser as the credits roll.
I'm a Foley fan... not a fanatic. The fanaticism died the day Ode to Freud was replaced by a car wreck. Then my hero turned into a bit of a self parody who still happened to be damn entertaining.
