It may be that he can't (or doesn't want to) have the WWE in his username any more, but it's not a sound idea to just change it. If he did, someone else would swoop in to take the old name and pretend to be him.
It's sad that Dustin never got that final run he was hoping for. They basically teased Goldust/Cody for about two weeks and then never spoke of it again.

I'd heard about this release by last Thursday but didn't have a link to post at 3am in the morning to do a nice little blurb. I feel like he's almost like the new Marty Jannetty of the WWE. Though I think Jannetty holds some kind of company record for being brought in & almost immediately released the last few times.
This is one of the few times where following someone on Twitter made me like him less. I was always a big Goldust fan, but the guy is just a total dick to everyone who tweets him. Not in a "I'm going to be funny by making fun of this stupid question" kind of way like CM Punk, but people ask him reasonable questions, and he just replies with "blocked."

I found Raven to be the same way.
Maybe it's that old "Gotta keep kayfabe" mentality that is impossible to hold up in these days of Wikipedia and social media sharing sites. Like how my dad hates using smartphones cause they do so much when he wants to do so little.
It's a shame they keep releasing him and bringing him back. He's got talent and an interesting character. It's even fun to see him in background scenes wearing a Christmas sweater and such. I would have liked to see a feud and match with Cody.

Raven isn't nearly a big a dick as Dustin. He makes fun of everyone. Dustin isn't even doing it in a fun jokey way, he's just all "blocked" and "lemmule".
I would. But I'm a girl. "They had nine months, and the best name they could come up with was Christian? That would be like my Mom and Dad calling me 'Jew!'" - Paul Heyman, Raw 03.09.01 JOHN-NY PO-LO!
