Love that AD started by outdoing Bob's Burgers' awesome slo-mo gag. Also loved Francine pointing out the plot holes from the very start. So ok, I rolled with the "Steve getting a puppy" plot before...well...there's no other way to say it...
A hot-air balloon filled with booze-swigging pirate cats flattened Steve's puppy.
And that is YOUR Biggest WTF? Moment of the Week! Made even weirder by the fact that it's mentioned maybe once after it happened! They just kept right on trucking like this was the most normal thing in the world!
But of course, the rest of the episode was a total win, especially Klaus singing Journey. "Klaus, you dick."
I at least thought it would come out that Roger set up the pirate-cat attack or something out of jealousy for Kisses. But nope, AD just glossed over it and moved right along. Amazing.
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
Okay, it was probably not good that I laughed at that Dora joke...but I did. Well done sir. Actually I was more upset you would attack Beavis and Butthead so overtly, but I will just let it go.
