The audio is a little out of sync, but this is great.

Insert pseudo-intellectual, quasi-pretentious comment here.

Seriously? No love for:

BUCKWHEAT HAS BEEN SHOT.

Piscapo as Ted Kopple was gold.

Then the break in:
BUCKWHEAT IS DEAD.

Nous ne nous pouvons pas sortir.
Weekend Update with Norm MacDonald.

"This week at a custody hearing Ron Goldman testified that OJ Simpson was an unfit father. OJ replied 'Ah you're just mad I killed your son.'"

"You guessed it: Frank Stalone."

And someone has to give it up for Will Ferrell as Harry Carey and Neil Diamond.

"Aren't you dead?" "That's beside the point NORM."

"This is a song I wrote after killing a drifter to get an erection."

A few gems that haven't been mentioned...

* The Bird Family
* The Denise Show, which had the bonus of actually having an ongoing storyline and an ending if you watch all three of the sketches in a row
* SCHWETTY BALLS! Actually, all the Delicious Dish sketches were pretty amazing

"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball

Can I change my vote??

I was reminded of the CLASSIC Will Ferrell as Harry Caray skit with Jeff Goldblum. So funny. (sorry for Spanish subtitles)

There a lot from Belushi's Olympic Athlete to Eddie Murphy's Mister Rodgers Neighborhood to Portman's rap. But to me the funniest one has to be Celebrity Jeopardy. Good Lord, those were epic and made SNL must see TV. "I'll take the The Rapists for $100, Alex." "That is Therapists, Mr. Connery."

I *loved* Norm McDonald's Weekend Update, a shame I can't find it on youtube (much of it, anyway).

Celebrity Jeopardy as well.

The first Debbie Downer sketch was hysterical. I remember laughing so hard I almost cried. I will still pull up that skit from time to time.

Buh-bye Airline Attnedants was another good one.

I loved Celebrity Minute with David Spade. He had a lot of great one liners.

Rosanne RosannaDanna (Sp?) was great. A classic.

Phil Hartman as Sinatra doing the Round Table was great. Calling Sinead O'Connir "Cueball" and ragging on Steve Lawrence and Edie Gormet.

I love Stefon now. He edges out What's Up With That as my favorite recurring sketch/character.

Life is hilariously cruel.

I suddenly just remembered the opening monologue when John Goodman hosted and everyone thought it was a rerun in my head. I really liked that one. In retrospect, it also includes a pre-cast member appearance by Tina Fey.

VH1 has been airing a lot of "Best of SNL" shows.

Last night was Jimmy Fallon and they showed the Celebrity Jeopardy with Cruise, Sandler, and Connery.
I've seen this before and still laugh hard. Everyone else in the room did too- kids and adults.

It's perfect sketch comedy- satire of a popular show, impressions, the dumb catergories, the Trebek/Connery rivalry.

One of the best ever.
