Who's the Luke that replaced Viscera in the main page?

Do you plan on starting a new thread EVERY time I replace the graphic on the front page?

I think that it's a fine, fine thing that we put that wonderful picture of Luke up from time to time.

Luke used to run the Shooters.net a while back.

Check out the old Anniversary links for some pretty hilarious (and sad) stuff.

I would say that they were funny and/or interesting in that you had to laugh at how sad one person could be.

The AOL conversations with Luke and Zed were priceless.

On June 27th, 2002, the Montreal Expos (number one on the MLB contraction list) added MONEY to their payroll, aquiring Bartolo Colon. In a time like this, there's two quotes that come to the forefront;

cfgb: "I hate to say it, but Atlanta really needs to be watching their rear ends".
And Number Two;

DJ FrostyFreeze: "PLEASE BELIEVE IT!"

I enjoyed the Luke/CRZ, The Hobbes thing didn't do much for me. Maybe it's funnier if you know the man, I just enjoy that pic.

The Hobbes thing in itself wasn't that funny, but when you combine it with the DVD "commentary," it is one of the best pieces ever.

Oh my bad. Good to see Viscera is still alive too. How about a tribute to Lash Leroux? Okay that was a joke and I don't even think I spelled his name right.

Slash Wrestling has completely forgotten the Maestro.

I don't really understand what Debaser said but I agree with him.

That Hobbes-et-Luke thing was what got me visiting this site regularly. You could still get CRZ's recaps at Wrestleline at the time, so there was no point in coming just for that.

I would argue that you could get the recaps from CRZ here so why would you bother going to WrestleLine?

Eh, I didn't even really know this site existed. And I didn't want to get into this, but I sort of liked Wrestleline. Downtown Dave Richard (or whatever his name is) was very good. I still miss his announcer report cards, with Tony Schiavone getting an F every single week. They had The Rick. They had Scott Keith, who I enjoy reading almost as much as I enjoy bashing. It was a one-stop shop. And I like sites that at least pretend to have a journalistic bent.
