Hiring the Broncos' defensive coordinator after his team got blown out 45-10 is about as laughable as hiring the Falcons offensive coordinator after his offense was held to two points. That's how you fail up, I suppose.

His offense was shut out. The defense scored the safety, not the offense.

If you really want to whittle their entire coaching careers down to ONE GAME, I suppose.

I will say the Broncos' D had been really solid towards the end of the season, but I have my doubts if only because Allen won't have Dumervil and Miller coming off the ends in Oakland; watch the Pittsburgh game and see how much pressure just those two alone brought. There were plays where on a 3 man rush they almost got to Roethlisberger, which is insane.

Of the two Broncos coordinators, I thought Mike McCoy's work with the offense was far more impressive. He was able to completely scrapp and reshape his offense halfway through the season in order to make Tebow a functional NFL quaterback.
Also, yay for not stealing from the Packers!

This never would have happened if Al Davis was still alive, He had his fill of former Broncos coaches when he hired/fired Shanahan.
and it wasn't just one game, they got lit up by the Pats twice - they got lit up by Lions - they got lit up by the Bills offense & defense to name a few....

Well, I am a happy person. The Ravens went out with a home loss, and the Saints won. My favorite play of that game - Good ol' Jeff Faine dragging McAllister over the goal line. Bandwagon, HOOOOO! New predictions:
