On Facebook the WWE just sent this in case anyone is interested...
WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony tickets go on sale TODAY at 10 AM ET in an exclusive online pre-sale! Use code WWEHOF to buy your seats before the general public, and see "The Rated R Superstar" Edge and The Four Horsemen receive WWE's highest honor in person!
I'm ticketed and we're in the cheap seats. The $28 seats, section 323. But I'll still be there live and in living color to usher in Edge and The Four Horsemen! Much Woooo!-ing will commence.

Just make sure if you see Blackjack Mulligan or Kendall Windham you don't try breaking a 20 for them.
Originally posted by ChumpstainOle Anderson doesn't want to be inducted. You can't induct someone in the Hall of Fame against their will. See: Bruno Sammartino.
You can, but it would be dumb if that person was still alive.
I could easily see them putting in Bruno whenever he passes away.

Agreed. but who inducts him?
Same with Randy Savage. He's GOTTA go in eventually, right? But who inducts him? Steamboat? Probably their best under-contract option, but it should really be Hogan or Flair. Mostly Hogan.

CM Punk?
And if Sammartino's estate says, "You are NOT inducting Bruno even after he dies," then it ain't gonna happen.

Originally posted by Dave MeltzerBack in the 80s, Ole and Vince McMahon had their court fight over Vince buying a majority interest in Georgia Championship Wrestling. McMahon bought the promotion to get the TBS time slot. Ole was running the company and had no idea of the sale until it went through, and only then he found out his business partners all went behind his back and sold their stock, which amounted to more than 50%, a majority interest, to McMahon, who essentially closed down the company. Ole said some really nasty things to Linda McMahon at the time. Because of that, Vince told him that he would never work for WWF.
Decades later, when they were doing the Horsemen DVD and wanted Ole to participate, Ole wouldn’t do it and actually said that his reason was that Vince told him he’d never do anything with WWF and he didn’t want Vince to prove to be a liar. I don’t think Ole was considered but most figure if he was asked he would turn it down anyway.
I love that second paragraph.

You would likely need to go old school for Bruno's induction. Maybe Patterson.
For Savage, you could go Poffo (assuming they don't do as Randy wanted and induct the Poffo family in total). You could also go Lawler.

Yeah, Graham is mad because they told him the HoF was eventually gonna be a real facility people could eventually visit but then was later told it was never gonna happen, but in a "lol @ u, no way in hell" sort of way that pissed him off. I think he even eBay'd his HoF ring?
Zbyszko might still be pissed at WWE/Jericho stealing his "Living Legend" moniker way back when, or maybe even something more recent? I forget.

Random amusing quote that I got today while browsing the-w, from 2002.
"Edge isn't main event material. Dude has next to no mic skills. His matches are more than predictable. If anyone around deserves a run, it's Angle."
I recall that around that time I felt the same. He was the weak link in the Smackdown Six, he was the one that got the push while I thought Christian deserved it.
And now Edge goes into the HoF. He's really grown a lot, mostly after turning heel/hooking up with Lita. If anything was a defining phase/moment in a guys career it was that phase.
Strange that they didn't explain what the IWGP belt was or how Angle got it. Especially since they were shilling the Mean Jeremy Textline earlier in the show to find out about Angle vs. Lesnar.
