In tonight's main event: Tag team champions AIR BOOM take on TYLER REKS & CURT HAWKINS! (Hey wait...wasn't this LAST WEEK's main event?!)
Also: YOSHI TATSU is still employed! He'll face TYSON KIDD in a grudge match which may or may not have origins on Twitter!
TRENT BARRETA meets - hey, DARREN YOUNG is *also* still employed! This show is starting to feel like your local news when everybody takes holiday break and they have to bring in a field reporter to sub in as anchor.
ALEX RILEY (who I like to call "A-Ry") clashes with JTG (now inexplicably accompanied by TAMINA)!
Really... Tyson Kidd can't even get a win over Yoshi freaking Tatsu? Blah! Outside of the walkout on Trips and token battle royals to make up the numbers, when was the last time Yoshi Tatsu was on Raw? At least Kidd has featured on a token Raw or Smackdown recently. AND he's gotten rid of that ricockulous hairdo of days gone by.
On a brighter note, I liked what I saw from Darren Young here. The backdrop on the ring apron is a pretty sweet move, and I'm digging his over-confident heel act. He could use some scruff or a little goatee though -- just to hammer home his evilness.

Yeah, Kidd gets no respect. Why did they fire DH Smith? Kofi and Evan defended the tag-team titles at the PPV against the relatively new team of Epico y Primo, but if they brought DH Smith back and reformed The Hart Dynasty, Kofi and Evan would immediately have legitimate competition for those belts.
If they're serious about building the tag-team division, and Smith was fired in simply a Spring Housecleaning/costcutting measure by WWE, then he needs to be rehired. (If it was a Wellness Policy violation or backstage attitude problems, that's a different matter, of course).
In any event, Kidd gets mucho respect from me in WWE '12; he's one-half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions with Arn Anderson, and even comes out to The Four Horsemen music during singles competition. I'm eventually gonna have those two, Drew McIntyre and a fourth guy "bring the band back together". (Any suggestions for #4, I'm all ears, incidentally).

Anderson, Kidd, McIntyre.....you need a big guy. I suggest either Ezekiel Jackson, or you could wait for Brodus Clay DLC. (Which is coming in their next DLC update.)

McIntyre is Flair. He won the Royal Rumble, beat John Cena for the WWE Title at WrestleMania, and going into Survivor Series he still has it.
And y'know something-- I forgot about Brodus! (Which means I'm probably qualified for an opening on the WWE writing staff). He'll be my fourth! Thanks for the idea.

It's funny when so many feuds come and go, only a handful actually last. Test and Steiner's feud lasted, unfortunately. But it can be a good thing too, like the feud between Raven and Father Jim Mitchell.
