(edited by DirtyMikeSeaver on 19.12.11 1255) Kevin Kelly: "Mr. Austin, would you like to comment on Wade Keller's Take that endorsing the XFL hurts your anti-authority character?"
Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"
Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"
Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."
Ok, after the second viewing of the trailor I can speculate a few things. NOTE: I have read as little as possible about DKR so I could be dead on or way off.
-Finally figured what the hell Bane is saying. "When Gothan is ashes, you have my permission to die."
-Looks like Batman retires himself and Gotham is enjoying a crime free peace time.

It's possible she's just giving the doofus billionaire some shit. No one likes this Bruce Wayne, remember. Only Alfred, Lucius, and Rachel saw behind the facade.

I was somewhat joking. Another take on it is that she is trying to give Bruce a wake-up call. That things are about to go to crap and we need Batman back.

Jesus, the Hobbit looks great, but I can't imagine sitting through that song in a theater and not being bored. Is it still two movies or just one movie, there is a lot of it that looks like the end of the book.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.

Still two movies. I believe the second movie is gonna bridge the Hobbit with LotR. Tolkein had tons of supplemental material and stories that fill in that period pretty well.

Gotta agree with you on this. I pretty much skipped through all of the songs when I read the book (as well as those in the trilogy), so I'm hoping there aren't too many of them to "endure." Still, very much looking forward to seeing it!

(It really wouldn't have taken much after the first two films, but) I am sold on The Dark Knight Rises.

Prometheus. That's the one one I been waiting for.
I actually don't look forward to seeing Batman again. I hated Dark Knight and with Nolan directing again, I'm guessing it'll have the same problems I had with the last one. His action scenes are jumbled and boring and Christian Bale is as well.
EDIT: Yeah, Ridley Scott is still saying this is not a prequel to Alien, yet this was in the trailer...

I hope they explain the giant alien in the ship. That and the Marine's lines about the different race they were banging has lead me to believe they knew about other lifeforms. After watching Alien and Aliens, I am damn excited for this flick.

THIS is the movie I am the most excited for. It looks PHENOMENAL!!!
That was one of their bigger plot holes in a long time, and on this show, that's saying something. I can't tell if this season is bad or I'm just burnt out on the 24 concept. They're not really breaking any new ground here.
