In terms of Christmas episodes, American Dad has a tough act to follow if it wants to repeat the total awesomeness that was last year's Christmas episode.
So in an attempt to try, we got the badass image of Santa Stan beating the shit out of Roger Christ. And that was incredibly amusing, before the Antichrist plot kicked in.
Maybe I was exhausted by the time I reached this episode, but it really didn't feel any kind of special. I think it'll be one of those deals where I'll like it more on a second viewing. And a lot of those scenes were certainly intense enough to warrant a second viewing.
Jeff: Oh my God! Nemo! It's "Omen" spelled backwards! He IS the Antichrist! (dramatic sting) Roger: But...YOU picked the name "Nemo". That doesn't make any sense.
I don't know why but when Steve was all possesed bug-liked thing was funny to me. When he crawed onto the roof, speaking aramic. Just seeing him doing that was funny weird. Then later when he had that eye twitch talking about the vivid nightmares, it was funny.
I loved the continuity of the anti-christ being the Riddler-esque supervillain we saw in the Rapture episode from a couple of years ago.
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
Good, not great. Even the wife said last year's episode was amazing. Stan beating up Rodger has got to the defining moment of the fake War on Christmas, we have been having since 2005.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.
Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
My favorite part was Roger testing his eggnog on the rats and what resulted. I'm glad they somewhat explained how Jeff got the baby from the adoption agency so quickly, as even though it's an animated show, that was, to me, a big plot hole when out of nowhere he just walked in with the kid.

I want to bring up something that is somewhat related to this. A while back, I found this link http://www.morningstar.nildram.co.uk/A_New_Sith.html It is an re-examination of the events from Episodes 4 - 6 in terms of what we saw in the prequels.
