Figured I would throw this on the board, since most if not all of us are, or at least were, wrestling fans. It's a Youtube show where I look back at old wrestling games. Here are the last 4, covering the 16 bit-era WWF games. I'm always open to suggestions (and yes, Saturday Night Slam Masters is coming)
Royal Rumble was okay, RAW was weak because all you had to do was whip someone into a turnbuckle, climb and punch them to 9, then climb down, and you could climb back up. You could do that infinitely. Doink and Luna Vachon could both do the 123 Kid's secret move. And the secret moves were just silly. Beating up the ref and making him bail was always fun.

Rumble was awesome. Raw had a weird roster and gave everyone goofy moves. And I rented a Sega CD just for Rage in the Cage. It... was not worth it.
Suggestions: Apart from the Fire Pro series, I'd like reviews of both The Main Event and Champion Wrestler (both arcade games). Main Event was hateful but I quite liked Champion Wrestler.
I've really been enjoying these reviews, Joe. I've been picking them up mainly through F4W.
I absolutely loved Royal Rumble on the SNES in my youth. I always wished the PerfectPlex led to a pinfall though!
Looking forward to hopefully some N64 era reviews; there's plenty of goodness to cover there.
I'll throw a few real obscure ones at you for your consideration!
WWF Attitude (Game Boy Color version) Wrestling League Simulator (PC)(don't think it would translate into much of a video review but I used to love this game!)
Joe, you also need to review Appoooh - not only because of the name, but because I want to see the dream matches of H.Hogen vs. A.Giants or G.Babu vs. A.Inoke.
Oh, awesome, I love that series. My only gripe with it is that top rope moves and some strikes are a pain, as they have a very finicky targeting to them. Still, it would be cheap if the mist hit every single time you tried it, I guess.
These are awesome, Joe. I've got the entire day off because of a snowstorm in my town, so I've been working my way through these all afternoon. I liked how you worked Final Fight and Street Fighter II into the Slam Masters review - you definitely have a great knowledge base from both a general video game and pro wrestling standpoint, which only adds to the reviews. Great job!
My only (very) minor complaint is that you either changed microphones at some point or something has happened to the one you're using because you now sound kind-of tinny.
Did you change the record settings around video 16?
