PS3 Retail (Tuesday) - Air Conflicts: Secret Wars - Cabela's Adventure Camp - Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai - Family Game Night 4: The Game Show - Generator Rex: Agent of Providence - GoldenEye 007: Reloaded - Jimmie Johnson's Anything With An Engine - The Lord of the Rings: War in the North - MotionSports Adrenaline - NASCAR: Unleashed - NCIS - Puss in Boots (Move Enabled) - Sonic Generations - Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
I'm still working my way thru Arkham City sidequests and I've still got the Infamous game sitting on my hardrive, so I think I'll hold off on Uncharted for a while and see if there's a good deal around. (KMart is giving you a $20 gaming card if that's store your frequent.)
GoldenEye might have been a purchase at a slower time. Not a Sonic person but it sounded like that game's better. Hooray nostalgia.
What's odder: two NASCAR related arcade-ish games on the same day, or two Cabela's games in one week?

DC Universe Online went free to play this week as well. I played the beta and really enjoyed it but wasn't in a position to pay a subscription fee so I'm quite pleased with this. Not so pleased with the 15.5Gb download. I'm currently 10 hours into the with no end in sight. Good job I swapped out the HD for a 320Gb model a few weeks ago.

How hard was that to do? I've got the old 60GB hard drive, but less worried about size then just the age of the drive.
It was really simple. The only tricky thing was undoing the blue screw under the drive tray. You have to make sure you use the exact size screwdriver or you risk shearing the head right off. Once you've managed it though, the rest is a piece of cake.
I got Uncharted yesterday, but I finished off the main story in Batman and did some sidequests earlier today. So Thursday is now going to be Uncharted 3 day, and with the 10 out of 10 score that IGN gave it, I'm even more geeked to start it (Cubs has more patience than me, cause I also have Infamous on my HD but I ain't waiting no longer).

Upgrading the PS3 hard drive is pretty easy. Most of the older systems make it easy to format and restore your firmware, but some of the more recent systems require you to have the latest firmware on a flash drive. Here's the guide I used: http://www.gamefront.com/how-to-upgrade-or-replace-your-ps3-hard-drive/#section2
Finished the main story on Arkham City but still need about 100 Riddler trophies left to finish off the side quests. Stupid Riddler keeping me from playing Uncharted 3.
This seems an attempt to cut down on friendly piracy. Today, you could buy some DLC on your PS3, sign in on a friend's PS3, redownload under your account on your friend's system without having to buy it again, and then they would be allowed to use under their log-in without having ever paid for it. That still can happen with only two units, but not nearly as much.
There surely will be some angry people about this - probably a tiny percentage of users who actually download game content on three or more PS3s, and a larger percentage of people who know the workaround who present themselves as legitimate - and I'm not really sure it's worth doing for the grief. (For one, I would've waited a complete year after the outage before doing anything that might be seen as anti-user.) It does seem like five is closer to the standard here, but I'm also sure there's some place in Sony where they're seeing a user log in from three or more PS3 hundreds of miles apart and seething about the lost money.
It's still a preferable approach to curtailing gamesharing than Capcom's attempts, which required an active connection to PSN to play Bionic Commando 2 or Final Fight. Which meant that if PSN was down for three months, or your internet connection goes out, you couldn't play the game you paid for.
