It's interesting to see that the middle of the Suck 4 Luck pack is filled with teams that already have their QB's for the future.
I look forward to seeing where this race is at in about three weeks (by which point, we'll check in on this again), because I think the Dolphins will have at least one or two wins. Miami has a very winnable game against the terrible Redskins in two weeks, while Indy has a rough stretch coming up against some big teams (including against the Pats).
Having said that, I'm not counting out the Cards or the Broncos, who are catching teams on the tail end of their funks. The Rams are finally showing a pulse and should mop the floor with Arizona, while Denver gets a rested Oakland team.
I'm loving the Suck 4 Luck storyline and it'll be fun to see where this goes in the next few months.
Of the teams listed, I think the Rams would benefit the most from getting luck. Why? Contrary to his play this year, Bradford has a lot of potential. They could trade him or the rights to Luck and bring in a haul.
The Colts would be a good fit, if for no other reason Manning could pass down his knowledge.
After a (very) long hiatus, I have begun to write again. And this time, I'm not alone!

Welcome home, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Infantry, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army National Guard! Job well done in Iraq!
Something tells me that Luck going to Indy would be like Aaron Rodgers' initial time in Green Bay: folks were hoping the veteran future-Hall-of-Famer QB would mentor the young'un, then retire in a couple of years and let the new guy take the reins.
Granted Peyton Manning is much less of a douche than He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, but Peyton strikes me as a you'll-have-to-rip-the-jersey-off-my-back kind of guy.
Indy could be heading for an ugly divorce from the face of the franchise and a 50/50 fanbase split. Trust me, it takes the new guy winning a Super Bowl to heal that kind of divide.
Also, the Suck for Luck race would be way more suspenseful if not for the 2008 Detroit Lions.

First tiebreaker for draft picks is the strength of schedule (the worse the SOS, the better it is for your position). From my math, I've got Miami at 64-49, and Indy at 65-54, so Indy is slightly in the driver seat.

I wanna steal Bill Simmons's idea for basketball and make a one-game playoff between the two worst teams. The winner gets the first draft pick. Give those fanbases a reason to support their team as the season of failure ends.
Hold the game the weekend between the conference championships and the Super Bowl. Move the Pro Bowl back to the weekend after the big game. Coin flip decides home-field advantage.

Yep. I actually have a co-worker that bought T-Jack jersey lasy year. Two weeks ago on KFAN, a rube called in and said that his buddy who runs a house Chrismtas decorating business had just signed a contract with Teh Favre's for this Christmas.
