I don't think it's been confirmed yet, they may just be trolls with plasma rifles. All we've actually seen are motion capture suits.

I really need to see that Thor movie.

I'm all over this based on very little seen so far. Joss Whedon writing and directing an Avengers film is ... I'm astounded that sentence can exist as fact.

And her power is that she has wings and gets really small. Hank Pym wears a silly helmet and talks to ants. He also get small, but sometimes big, and sometimes he has wings too. That's what's not translatable. Kid's cartoons are not the same as mainstream blockbusters. Pokemon is (was?) huge with kids, but will never have a live action movie that goes over big with the adult market. The Avengers that are being sold to the public in this film are the ones that can be made into badass action heroes. It would be very cool to have Hank & Janet in cameos or supporting roles as SHIELD scientists or something, but their superhero personas just wouldn't work.

I will bet you $5 that we are less than 10 years from a live-action Pokemon movie.

And I would gladly shell out the cash if it was done right. Of course you KNOW it will have Pikachu farting lightning.

Back on topic, this trailer needs MORE HULK. Also, they will hopefully explain that everytime Hulk turns back into Banner he looks different.

Seconded. I had no idea either. Although I am sure it would have come out eventually.

Sorry if I spoiled anything for you. It's not in the trailers or anything, but the filmmakers have confirmed the Skrulls in several interviews. I didn't think it would be classed as a spoiler given that the production are openly talking about it.

Avengers related news: Thor 2 has been bumped from July 2013 to November 2013. (boxofficemojo.com) Possibly because they still haven't found a director to replace Kenneth Branagh.

A cool note - The Log Cabin Shop provided the black powder used for explosions in The Avengers. It's owned by some distant relatives of mine. I remember going through there a number of times as a kid, even got to fire a musket on their firing range.

Can't wait to see this film and see what sections of Cleveland I can pick out. One of my Facebook friends was downtown for some of the filming, he got a few nice shots of areas done up to look like New York and Germany.

I demand that Joss Whedon and Marvel include The Avengers' individual theme songs in their movie. Especially The Hulk's:

Iron Man (homepage.mac.com)
Thor (homepage.mac.com)
Captain America (homepage.mac.com)
Hulk (homepage.mac.com)

God, I love the Internet.

I like this a lot more than that other trailer for The Avengers.

I'm more with It's False: it was just okay. I'm sure if I watched Mad Men, I would've liked it better.
