For the second time AMC is saved from cancellation but this time by Lifetime.

--------------------

I have hope for it but isnt this the same channel that brought back "Unsolved Mystery's" only for it to be cancelled?

It could be on just about anything and I'd be happy. This show is a public service and needs to be on the air.

Lifetime is a random choice, though. I'd thought it'd fit in on TruTV.

Lifetime brought back Unsolved Mysteries in the late 90's-early 2000s after showing repeats for years. They cancelled the show, but it might have had just as much to do with Robert Stack's health as anything else, since he passed away not long after the show finished its run.

I didnt know "Unsolved Mysteries" had been on so many channels:

NBC (youtube.com)
1987 – 1997.
Host: Raymond Burr (as a television special) then Karl Malden and then Robert Stack

CBS (youtube.com)
1997–1999.
HOST: Robert Stack. in 1999 with co-host Virginia Madsen

Lifetime (youtube.com)
2001-2002.
Host: Robert Stack

Spike TV (youtube.com)
2008-2010.
Host: Dennis Farina

Lifetime, "Now taking stories for new segments to be filmed" (unsolved.com)
2010-present.
Host: Dennis Farina (i guess)

Wow, I had no idea they were going to be filming new stories. Great idea, as the "new" Unsolved Mysteries that returned with Dennis Farina on Spike TV (and now Lifetime) seemed to be a bit of a bust. It was nice getting updates on old cases, though.

Okay then, just to clarify my earlier point, the new voice for Roberta is terrible, while the previous voice was just fine.
