This is the current situation 4 every1 who's asking: I quit last mon. And apparently after a total of 5 yrs of working for a co. where I was not utilized or appreciated,I'm now 4 some reason, valuable enough 2 keep me under the remainder of my contract so I can't work elsewhere. Controlling? Thoughts?

When you go into business for yourself, the way Gail did during last Monday's battle royale, it's not all that surprising that the employer could get a little vindictive. Considering this is the E, this news isn't all that surprising.
WWE contracts are structured where most of the pay is dependent on how many shows you work. You have a minimum ("downside") guarantee, but that's probably not a lot for someone the level of Gail. Even if she had been fired and not quit, she still would've been paid this money for a few months, but it's not great money.
I'd be the real issue here is Gail quit WWE because she had an offer in hand for something/someplace else, and now she might be losing out on it.
I will have to hope that Gail makes a series of youtube videos where she eats grapes. That has been shown to be the optimal course of action in this sort of situation.

I hope Gail also rewrites her Twitter bio and mixes first and third person like this guy:
@MATTHARDYBRAND Cameron, NC Matt no longer has boundaries.. And plans on becoming what I'm destined to be..
Also, one period is sufficient to end sentences with.
But then again, Matt's always been one dot short of an ellipsis.

Gail's whining feels a little like sour grapes rather than genuine dcomplaints about the way WWE handles Divas, given that we've seen Kharma get a solid push and Beth Phoenix and Natalya are currently mowing through the less physical women on the roster.
Gail re-joined WWE because they paid much more than TNA. There are numerous reports and threads on this board about how poorly TNA pays their midcard and undercard talent, especially the Knockouts. No one can blame her for wanting more money. Along with that contract came promises of opportunity; Gail was a former Women's Champion and had a fairly prominent role in her first run during the Trish Stratus era. But no one can dispute the shitty way the Divas have been booked over the last few years.
The shelf life of women in the business is shorter than men. Guys can kick around well past their 40s, but how many women pushing 40 are there active in the business? Trish and Lita retired at 30. Gail is already in that same age range. She only has a few more years left in her prime, looks and ability wise. Presumably she made her WWE money and saved it so she's secure. Can't blame her for wanting to spend whatever time she has left wanting to be utilized and to wrestle.
But pissing and moaning on Twitter doesn't help. And equally, you can't blame WWE for booking the women on the whole in the same way they always have. There's one side being unprofessional here and it ain't WWE.

About 5 total weeks of the 124 or so she's been there don't really damage that argument. The Twitter defiance is pointless, but basically every girl who leaves the company from Maria to Michelle McCool (the most/only taken care of girl of the last two years) complains about the crap booking of the women. So she's not exactly telling tales out of school when it comes to general sentiment.
