I welcome Foley into any capacity in the WWE except in an obvious loss to a midcarder on a b-level PPV. In fact, I think his in-ring days should be behind him. He can talk. Let him talk. Give him back the gavel but instead of being the RAW GM, let him be the WWE VP in charge of all shows and have him pop up on NXT and SmackDown.

I like it! Judge Foley of the Kangaroo Court.

Does the WWE really need more Mick Foley?

Yeah, probably, but I don't know if I want anymore Mick Foley and I used to love the guy. Ever since he wrote his first Best Seller, he seems big headed and I know he tries to come off as cute but he seems more like a douche. You would think a string of not so great books along with a not so great TNA run would knock him down a few pegs, but no, he still seems to think he's as great and important as he was in 1998.

If he can turn into older Terry Funk and start helping out young talent get over than I'm for it, but if he's going to be some kind of figurehead GM than I'd rather do without.

Last weekend my son paid $5 to meet Mick at an autograph table at Six Flags New England, and I imagine he's doing a bunch of these, plus selling stuff on ebay. Maybe he doesn't have as much money as we think....

I would like to see him back in WWE if only for the comedy. Santino Marella just doesn't cut it and Cena's jokes are just too PG corny.
There used to be more funny moments, with him and Edge and Christian and even crazy Austin and Kurt Angle with little cowboy hats.

Mick's eBay sales are for charity...if you read his tweets, it seems like volunteering and raising money & awareness for the RAINN organization are where his true passions lie nowadays.

Actually I just read Countdown To Lockdown on a plane over the weekend. It was enjoyable, like hearing from an old friend, but not very necessary. I felt like most of the anecdotes could've just been blog posts. And I had read the post-Benoit and Tori chapters because he'd posted them online.

Which might have been the reason Foley was out of shape at Mania and totally sucked in his big comeback match. He made up for it a month later at Backlash, of course.

Best role for Foley would be sign him, tell him to get in good shape, announce induction to Hall of Fame and build up a match against Taker at Mania, as Foley probably has the best record against Taker historically this side of the Ultimate Warrior.
As for the Cena match at Mania: One wrong step by his opponent that tears a quad the week before Mania blows the Main Event and potentially millions, one blown quad a minute into the match, and it doesn't matter because it has already been paid for.

But like Justin said, the match lay out and heat saved him there.

Based on Foley's concussions in TNA and his talk of memory issues, I really hope he stays out of the ring--at least not doing crazy stunts.

You do, I'm your biggest. Would love an autographed 8x10, do I need to send a SASE?

Shut up, Josh!

I remember Charles Robinson and Buff Bagwell had some pretty entertaining shoving matches, to the point where Buff would end up on his ass begging off and apologizing.
