In the spirit of that thread (which didn't even get new posts as part of the 7?) and because I learned of a lot of awesome songs from it and because we (I think) have some current/former workers on the board it's time to revisit this. If you were a pro wrestler and/or an MMA fighter what would be your theme?
Bonus points for listing a face and heel theme or pyro/entrance cues. Super bonus points for not repeating any theme that's been used or ripped off for WWE/WCW/ECW. Sorry, Battle Without Honor or Humanity and Basham fans who aren't the Bashams. Both of you.
"Another body murdered" by Faith No More & the Booyah tribe.
Depending on the role I play (face, evil heel ,etc) it can be edited. (longer or shorter intro) and of course that song has various different sections so one of the later parts can be used as "post match" music.
- Needs to be able to cut off people mid-promo effectively. - Needs to sound good. Good enough that people would want to listen to it on their iPods. - Distinctive, when it hits people need to know "ZOMG THAT'S HIM!!!!".
In this sense, there's one song that can fit both heel or face, regardless of swirves'n'turns:
One Man Army, by Our Lady Peace. My pyro goes off when Raine Maida says "Twitch".
It is the policy of the documentary crew to remain true observers and not interfere with its subjects. "Well. Shit." -hansen9j Go Pack Go! (Champs!) Let's Go Riders!
One and only one right answer to this question: AC/DC 'Hells Bells'.
Well OK, 'Shoot To Thrill' and Daft Punk's 'Robot Rock' are good answers as well. But I always go back to Hells Bells as my default choice. Doesn't matter if I'm a heel or face; I want a song that says "Business just picked up and shit is about to get wrecked".

I woulda gone with this, had Samoa Joe not gone there first. Harumph.
ANYWAYS
Busta Rhymes: "Fire" (youtube.com) as a face, preferably in ROH so the fans can pound the barricades in time with the piano. (Oh, and I'd sing along to the chorus.)
Seafood: "Cloaking" (youtube.com) also as a face, but I wouldn't enter until after the guitars come in. Basically, the bassline would be meant to induce an "oh CRAP" reaction from the fans/foes.
Backyard Babies: "Highlights" (youtube.com) as a decadent, Edge-style heel. Wait to enter until just after the drums come in. (Can't find a video for it, but Christiansen's "Kentucky Goddamn" might serve the same purpose.)
You wanted the best, you got... the Out of Context Quote of the Week.
"Are you implying that the world will end because God will take a dump on the Sun?" (Llakor)
Then (The W) as now, my answer remains the same: Bad Boy (youtu.be), as performed by The Beatles. Works for both heel and face (well, a face w/attitude) and IMHO meets all three requirements El Nastio spells out in Post #5.
"Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help." - Isaiah 58:7 (New Living Translation)

Is that you, Michael Hayes?
For a Pro Wrestler I'd use GnR's Welcome to the Jungle. The little opening guitar riff would give people a chance to pop, or boo, then it kicks in and is just awesome.
MMA answer would be For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metalica.
