I'm glad you all talked me into trying this show, this season was a lot of fun.

I liked The Bubble better, for the circle desk (and the swiveling away) and Andy having fun on the fourth floor (better than a pit) and Ben cramming to pass the test of Leslie's mom only for Leslie's mom to make a pass at him.

Ben & Leslie unraveling the Lil' Sebstian memorial was great, but all the Big Plot Points jammed into the final scene felt a bit, uh, jammed. Like almost as if was supposed to be a parody of a season finale (Ann/Chris! April as MouseRat manager!, First Tammy!), except Leslie's dreams coming true (at a cost!) made it seem a bit more real. A season of Leslie running for office might be great, though not as much if it's also a season of Leslie and Ben trying to hide their relationship again.

I put the under/over at The End of 720 Entertainment as 3 episodes. Tom with no P&R job and no 720 Entertainment job would seem to have plenty of time to be a campaign manager.

My dream scenario is an Unprecedented Parks and Rec/The Office crossover with James Spader coming over to run Entertainment 720 for Jean-Ralphio ("You've got to stop yelling.") and Tom.

I don't think it was so much "cramming" as it was "cliff hanger"-rrific. They're really setting up for an interesting Season 4. (What?!? Really? That seemed quick.) I know that everything, at some point, will get back to "normal", but I think it'll be a great ride.

I love the pending doom of Tammy-v1 - so scary that Tammy-v2 had to run out of the building. Hopefully, it's a great cameo. Detlef Schrempf's cameo was pretty great as well.

It seems that Rob Lowe/Chris will not be returning? That's the sense that I got, at least.

So Jean-Ralphio is awesome - but I hope they don't over do it. He's seems like a great special attraction, but I think it could get old quickly if he's around too much.

Incidentally, there's a longer Producer's Cut of "The Fight" episode up on Hulu (not sure if you have to be a Plus member or not to watch it). It's a shame that episode wasn't an hour.

Free download for 5000 Candles in the Wind, a great song.

Orq's idea is awesome, as is Jean-Ralphio himself but you're right he should be sporadic.

There's being a douche in the "that's a douche move" way you is pretty cool. Then there's being a DOUCHE in the "man, that guy is a DOUCHE". Jean-Ralphio is the latter. When he hits the scene my wife and I go "JEAN-RALPHIO!" because we know awesome is going to happen. But in order for such a douche to be contained properly, he must be used within reason.

I'm curious how they will play this out. Leslie is both a romantic and a carer woman, so that will present an interesting self-conflict if she breaks up with Ben.

"Tammy. The first Tammy". I don't know if the can show her face and have her live up to the rep. Tammy #2 was something else, but when she falls victim to the Worf Effect and flees in terror that's saying something else.

A marvelous season for my favorite TV Show. Season 4 can't come fast enough.

After a (very) long hiatus, I have begun to write again. And this time, I'm not alone!

IIRC Michael Schur was pretty adamant about Lowe being under contract for multiple seasons when that Two And A Half Men stuff started. Which reminds me, we never got any Brandanowicz this year.

I wonder who they can cast that will live up to the first Tammy. Tennis legend Steffi Graf?

No doubt Parks is consistently crushing it. Going back to the Community thread and seasonal achievements, it's kind of hard for me to differentiate this as a different season than last year. It was shorter, they wrote and shot the first 5-6 episodes at the end of last year's production, and the Ben/Chris arrival bridged it. To me it's all seemed like a continuation of the same momentum.

I think my favorite thing they did this year was not just getting April and Andy together but completely defying convention by marrying them. They're the rare TV couple who are better together than apart -- they feed into each other's worst/craziest/funniest qualities and they live together happily in this nightmare world of impulsiveness and irresponsibility. It's a novel thing, especially on a show where the rest of the cast is adults in their 30s who aren't married and engage in standard sitcom dating/love-looking stuff.

Which is why I don't give anything Stewart says any credibility whatsoever. After all, he's just a silly comedian, right? Seemed like a mean-spirited, unfunny ripfest to me. Not that Cramer wasn't stupid for going on in the first place.
