First of all, are Jericho, Storm, and Christian actually a stable? Second of all, if they are, this is the most retarded name i have ever heard. They need to have their own identity, not be a four horseman rip off. And didn't christian go on tv after he turned heel, rip on canada and admit that he was living in florida cuz canada sucks? What? Canada sucks.

Well, you're asking two questions here...

Q: WHAT IS A STABLE?
A: A stable is an area used to house and shelter horses...but that's not important right now. Groups of wrestlers who team together are called "stables", probably due to the fact that it's an old carny term for groups of wrestlers who team together. Anyhoo, cool stables of recent memory include The Four Horsemen, the nWo, D-Generation X, Too Cool and The Radicalz.

Q: HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU'RE IN A STABLE?
A: You're officially in a stable when you use a smark's pet name for the group on television. Remember Team RECK (Rhyno, Edge, Christian, Kurt Angle)? They were a stable. Since Christian, Lance Storm & Chris Jericho don't have a cool smarky name yet, they're not a stable. But remember, if you have a t-shirt selling at ShopZone, you're either in a stable or popular (and don't need to be in a stable anymore).

This has been Freeway420 with another rambling comment.

No way team RECK was a stable, they were togehter all of what 2 weeks, give or take a few. Last night was the first time i can recall seeing jericho, storm, and christian together at the same time. DX was a stable, the four horsemen were a stable... Does teaming in a 6 man suddenly constitute stable status?

Actually They've been hanging in the back for some weeks now I believe. Recall a week or two ago when Jericho gave Test, Christian and Storm gifts (I think it was Smackdown prior to Triple H's Return). THey are doing segments where these guys are all buddy buddy. Personally if they became an official stable, it should last all of 5 seconds because to push the whole ego thing, Jericho would likely insist they be called the Jericholics or something denoting him as the leader.

As for "Canadian Horsemen", pardon my ignorance, but weren't the 4 horsemen about winning belts and beating the crap outta all the competition. Wouldn't a Canadian version be like, overly polite, and civilized?

It's too bad WCW already used the name "team canada." (Yes, I know the WWF owns the name, but it would back bad memories of Elix Skipper and Major Guns.)

It would certainly be cool to see the Canadian Clique (well, we DEFINITELY wouldn't want to call them that) wearing the Canadian Olympic Hockey jerseys (or better yet the cool late 70s giant Maple Leaf sweaters). Just imagine what would happen if Canada managed to win the gold medal, in the US no less.

but please... get rid of Test. He's the Paul Roma of the group.

Has the WWF ever even acknowledged the fact that the group is made up of all candiens? Has the Fed ever said their friendship has anything to do with them all being canadien? Canadien Horsemen is just a term coined by the internet.

No, the WWF has not mentioned the fact that they are Canadian, and personally, I think "Canadian Horsemen" is a ridiculous name. We need to come up with something better.

I don't care what they're called as long as Edge joins the posse.

Jericho,World Title/Storm,IC/Edge&Christian Tag Team/Test, jobber/ Trish, valet

It'd be kinda like when the Harts had all the belts. Powerful groups with tons of gold rule.

Please do not kill Edge's singles push (which includes vicotries over Angle twice, DDP, and RVD) to put him in the Brotherhood of Evil Canadians. Edge is doing fine on his own. Trish doesn't need to be in their either.

And I'm sticking with the X-Men rip-off name for them.

Wait one damn minute, here! I put up the Canadian Horsemen idea I got from a friend and I think it works. You have Jericho as Flair, Storm as Arn, Christian as Brian and Test as Ollie. Don't you see the connection. Plus, they are fueding with Flair. All you need is Benoit to come back to challenge them with Edge.

Actually, King refereed to them as Canada's finest, last night. Come on, they are a comic book team up book, Canadian Horsemen works better than that.

A Fan- What the hell are you going to call them JLCT?

Hey, I don't have a problem with the idea of Jericho, Christian, text and Storm forming a stable at all. Just the opposite, I love the idea. I'm just sick of every time a group of talenetd wrestlers get together, someone throws the "Horsemen" label at them. To a lesser extent I'm sick of the "get all the Canadians in a heel group bit" since it is possible for a wrestler to get over without having to rely entirely on nationality.

To that end, I will only refer to the grouping of Jericho, Test, Christian and Storm as "The Brotherhood of Evil Canadians". It gives the group it's own anme and differentiates them from the babyface Candaians like Edge and Benoit since the Brotherhood of Evil Canadians are, well, evil.

First of all if you're going to call them the Canadian Horsemen and you're going to compare them to the old members, then screw Test and Edge, and bring in Benoit. He's the only one deserving of the Enforcer spot.

But I tend to agree that not ever group they come up should be called Horsemen. Maybe the Four Moosemen? Or Canadian World Order? Canadian X? Nation of Canadation...ok that one doesn't work.

Hey, I like the idea of this groups joining forces, whoever it may be.

Jericho
Storm
Christian
Test (well OK, by default I guess)
Benoit (when he returns)

They protect each other from the evils of the rest of the World, in fact, they especially keep the belts on Jericho.

Heres a question though...

What this group really needs is a Manager/Leader, a-la the Bobby Heenen or Jim Cornette stables of wrestlers.

Who would that be for the "Crazy Canucks"??

Any possibilites????

Any other famous old Canadian wrestlers like Bret Hart? Why not Hart himself? If Hogan, Nash and Hall can come back, why not Bret.....

Scenario: Jericho is about to loose the belts to TheRock, when suddenly, a mysterious man appears who runs in, and sticks an object against TheRock's side..TheRock starts having a seizure..the man throw backs his mask/cape/cowl whatever..it is THe Mountie!!!

Only then can we consider this a Canadian stable..

If I may...

I think that Jericho, Test, Christian and Storm make a great stable.

I also think, that if played out properly, you can get away with calling them the Four Horsemen. Nothing about Canada. Just the Four Horsemen.

Think about it. There's one factor, that when added to the mix, makes it work beautifully: The JJ Dillon role. Who does it go to?

The man who gives the group instant crediblity as the Four Horsemen.
The man who originally came up with the name "Four Horsemen."
And the man who has been on TV recently being a little too "buddy-buddy" with Ric Flair.

I don't mind Test being in there. I'd prefer him to be more of the enforcer/Jericho's Bodyguard more than wrestle single matches. They should free Christian up to do singles and bring in one more canadian to team with storm.
Someone who is making his return at the rumble.
Someone who already shed the useless gimmick that it seems he's being saddled with again.
Someone who is a good worker who, if we are to call them Horsemen, was what the Horsemen were about.

That man: VAL VENIS. Come on home Val.

They gotta bring these back!!!:

I agree. In my eyes, any true pro-Canada stable must have an "old-guard" pro-Canada leader/manager/PR guy/whatever. And who fits that role better than The Mountie? (An Aside: No, not Bret "VINCE SCREWED ME!!!1111" Hart. His pro-Canadianship wasn't as blatent or as strong as The Mountie's.) Exactly, no one.

However, I would replace Test with Val Venis. Test would probably be too busy calling guys' "Lance Romance" and getting slapped by female valets to bring anything worthwhile to the stable's table.
