I thought the EXACT SAME thing, and was about to post the EXACT SAME thing.

Way to make me check ten different websites looking for news on FUCKING Viscera, and then REGISTER here just so I could find out what is going on.

For Viscera. Jesus H. Christ.

Considering the fact that he hasn't been mentioned at WWE.com, PWTorch.com, Wrestlingrumor, er, Wrestlezone.com, Wrestlingobserver.com, or smashwrestling.com, I think it's safe to assume...no.

But anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation!

It probably just has something to do with CRZ calling every spinning heel kick a "Viscera kick", despite the fact that when Viscera did it it was an alleged spinning heel kick.

If you click on the picture, or run your mouse over it, it mentions "cheex," the fat black guy from TNA last night.

Call it an homage, if you will.

Ah, yes ... Viscera. My favorite Viscera moment was during a hardcore match on RAW. This was when the 24/7 rule was in full effect, and Bradshaw and somebody else were beating on each other by a beer stand out in the concourse. Beer was all over the floor. Viscera came stomping in, ready to get involved, and he slipped in the beer and fell flat on his ass. Best Viscera match ever.

Well, it doesn't have a birth-death date thingie by it, so I'm assuming Viscera is still alive.
I think it's a reference to the fact that there was no mention of "King Mabel" on the opening KOTR montage, but I could be wrong.
It just means "we remember him." That's all.

My favorite Viscera moment, was when I first saw him come out wearing that shiny vinyl coat, and I was like, man, that's embarrassing when they make you wear a trash bag to the ring.

The word over on the KayfabeMemories.com EZBoard (you remember THAT, dontcha??!) is that he's still alive. Apparently, some guy with the exact same name (Nelson Frazier) passed away and the wrestling smarks got carried away with the info.

You're right. They left out Billy too. (I'm sure a few others...I really only paid attention to those two.)

My fondest memory was his big splash on Mae Young.
Man he was fat...

Ah yes .... Viscera ... or "Big Vis" as JR got to calling him. No one and I mean NO ONE ever did a fall over on your stomach finisher like he did. Or was that his starter? It was always tough to tell since he had only that one move.

I remember the promo he had when he and Godfather were dueling for Mark Henry's soul (for those of you looking for a frame of reference this was the RAW after Mideon's "farm animals" promo)and Viscera cut a promo.

It was just about as terrible as you can imagine ("I don't like no farm animals. I like hos.") but damn if he didn't try his heart out to sell it like fate of nations hung on whether Godfather brought out local strippers or he brought out ugly fat chicks.

I don't mind WWE being bad. I only ask that it be entertainingly bad. Nuggets of Bizarro Joy like this are what keep me watching.

Got a great angle out of it as Vis the Evil Pimp, which like all Godfather angles sucked like a gay black hole. But he TRIED. Dammit, he TRIED.

. . .and dammit, I wish I had seen this earlier. I still laugh about him slipping on that beer too.

I had tickets to Armageddon '99 (which features Y2J winning the IC title, and the beginning of the Helmsley-McMahon era), and was scared shitless that they were going to have a Kane/Viscera match instead of a Kane/X-Pac match.

Even before I discovered the Internet wrestling community, I had a deep-seated hate for the entire Ministry of Darkness (Edge & Christain were the exceptions), and the thought of Kane vs. Viscera was too horrible to compare. I was very happy to have the Kane/X-Pac blow off...until I saw RAW the next night and saw that they were going to drag the feud on and on...as for Vis (my memories fuzzy), I think he ended up involved in the opening Battle Royal and had a somewhat humerous sketch when he broke the scale when Hardcore Holly tried to weight him (remember that gimmick?)

...This buds for you Viscera, you fat fuck.

"I would like to introduce you to Brother Nero. He is a recovering spot monkey." That and underwater collar-and-elbow tie-ups make this a win for me, even if it wasn't nearly as good as Final Deletion.
