1) Alison Brie. Alison Brie. I'm pretty sure she should submit that performance to some award body, but I'm not quite sure which one to pick. Maybe all of them.
2) Dang it, I miss having Josh Holloway on my TV on a weekly basis.
(okay, one more: encouraging that they've realized they've careened badly with Pierce.)

I'd like to submit her to my award body, hurr hurr hurr.
This ruled, and I'm looking forward to next week's already. (Warriors-themed, right?)

Careened badly or an arc for the year? He's been pretty awful to them from the onset of this season and that trampoline. Their riff has been a thing all year, seems like a natural thing to build to for the year's summation.
Is it me or have they gotten almost too good at their parodies? This was just straight up suspenseful. Alison Brie was crushing it playing so dead serious.
"Popped" for Anthony Michael Hall's bully. Hope there are some other favorites in part 2, can't see how it won't be amazing. Who is the mastermind? City College? This is probably long since out on the internet so if so please don't say so ITT.
I was apprehensive about this - but I loved all of it. This means I'm breaking out Red Dead Redemption and playing it all weekend.
So I have a totally uninformed theory as to who is behind this:

I think it has to Rich. There were a couple of things, one of which being the emphasis on Annie. Another - at the end of the episode in which they were voting on whether to make Rich a part of the group, Jeff clearly runs to an apartment to confront Rich. Later, when Rich is doing the Troy-and-Abed-in-the-morning, he mentions that a tree in his backyard was struck by lightening. It might be nothing, but that ALWAYS bothered me.
This is an episode I'll rewatch at least a couple of times, if for no other reason than Annie's run through the hall, Baywatch style. Awesome episode, especially since when I first heard they were doing another paintball, I didnt think they could raise the bar, but they did, and still have part two coming up.
Sawyer!! I knew he was going to be on, but i still marked out for the appearance.

How about

Professor Slater.
I came to this theory through the complex effort of thinking of people from the show. But she - is a character from the show - is female (which could ultimately be a red herring knowing how things go here) - hasn't been on this season - was dumped by Jeff in last year's finale - appeared in name during a scroll in the election episode that said something like "Professor Slater still missing"
Then again, if anyone would want revenge it wouldn't it be Vaughn. Jeff, Britta, Pierce, and that Sherri Shepherd lady are all b's, Annie wouldn't move with him, and he no longer attends Greendale.

I'd like to believe you are right and they planned this out all along, but there were too many episodes likes "Intermediate Documentary Filmmaking" (the one where Pierce is dying) where they wrapped up with people forgiving Pierce for whatever he'd done. I remember reading an interview with a writer on the show around that time, and they seemed to believe any problem they had with Pierce being awful was resolved in that episode, not ongoing.
Doesn't actually matter how they've got here, it's a good idea to go with for the finale.
Surely there will be a surprise person in the cone because that's how Community rolls, but the teaser for next week suggested "Greendale loses game -> Greendale goes away", so I'm guessing the evil plan is the Dean is unintentionally responsible for the money, the payout will bankrupt the school, and the Ice Cream People want that land because...it's a perfect place to sell Ice Cream?
I'm sure there is a part two, but it wouldn't surprise me if they just threw a bunch of teaser clips together at the end of the episode and just left it at that while going on to something completely different next week.

If Community pulled an Arrested Development, I don't know if I would personally be furious or delighted, but I know that the internet would blow up. Just, kaboom.

That would suck.
I'm watching this episode again, and just noticed something I hadn't caught before...

I bet the cards with which they voted on Pierce correspond to the cards assigned to the specific characters. Annie was designated the Ace of Hearts when introduced in this episode.

That's awesome. Did anyone else catch that?
Yep. You were supposed to. Also, that's not really a spoiler.

BUT I NEVER GET TO USE THOSE TAGS!
(Yeah, I had a feeling I was going overboard. Just hoping you'd let me enjoy the little things in life.... )
If they threw Annie out there every week in a low cut shirt and the heretofore unmentioned short skirt, this show would be #1 in the ratings within two months.
Not a single AI thread yet? Come on people I can't be the only pathetic one watching this show. Anyway fun stuff going on with one of the contestants. This Antonella chick, the pretty hot one with ...
