Last night they showed at the very end that Tony was given a drink from a man. That drink had a ice cube with an eye ball in it. Pauley Perrette tweeted that it is someone we all know that is the owner of the eyeball. Doesnt necessarily mean a agent though. My theory is:

Tony was offered a team back when Gibbs came back from "retirement" by Director Shepard. That team was Rota Spain.

He turned it down.

EJ Barrett gets it.

Tony during that season had dated a woman named Jean Benoit, the daughter of the Frog. The main target of the director.

The man who worked for the Frog was CIA Operative Trent Cort. Cort and Tony despise each other and do not like each other. Trent is a known killer.

I think Cort went to Rota Spain and started there, one by one, killing someone at each port. I think Tony is going to be the target, the main target of this. Trent Cort is the P2P Killer and Jean Benoit is who is dead and whose eyeball was in Tony's drink.

What does everyone else think?

I only saw the end, but I sort of agree with your assessment. Cort makes a lot of sense.

I have kind of recently dropped out of the full NCIS mix in favor of the new show (LA), but am being drawn back in. I must admit my initial suspicion was (and still is) with Ziva's new BF.

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I'm with you. NCIS likes to hide things in plain sight all too often.

I was thinking it's Ducky's eyeball. I remember reading that David McCallum was leaving at the end of this season.

The killer being Ziva's BF seems a bit too much with just having dealt with her dad and all. She's always losing BF's for one reason or another and I'd like to think they will go with something else this time.

Trent Kort (with a 'K') is a bad choice cause he's a good character to keep using from time to time.

My guess is EJ Barrett is probably the killer.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

The victim is a male in his 30s that can open the MTAC door. I am at a total loss as who it could be.

When's the last time we saw Vance? Of course, he's over 30...

Could it be Gerald? Duckys former assistant?

Why would his eye be able to open the door to MTAC? It has to be some one higher up the food chain, but I can't think of anyone young enough to be able to have that kind of clearance that has already been on camera.

Here's my question- could it be "unfresh" - could it, say, be Kate's? or Jenny's

Ducky'd be able to tell, right?

No cant be them. They said the eyeball belonged to a male.

Could it be Ponchy? The agent that was found dead in the elevator and was shown in two episodes?

Or maybe its the guy who sat at McGee's desk when the team was split up?

I haven't really watched much of this season so this may be a bad line of thinking. I'm going from what Wikipedia has listed about Vance's background and what I remember seeing in the first couple of episodes he was in.

Leon Vance, portrayed by Rocky Carroll, first appeared in the episode "Internal Affairs" as Assistant Director in Season 5. He is named Director after the death of Jenny Shepard. It has been revealed in the episode "Knockout" that he was originally from Ohio, but grew up in Chicago where he trained to be a boxer. In this episode, his wife stated that Vance attended the United States Naval Academy and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps, but was forced to take a medical discharge before ever serving due to having undergone surgery to repair a detached retina suffered during his boxing career.[4] However, at the end of the episode, Ducky reveals to Gibbs that Vance's close, childhood friend who had died just prior to the start of the episode also suffered a detached retina. In the course of this episode, Vance also revealed that it was this friend who decided that Vance should leave Chicago while the friend stayed behind. Vance said this despite his insistence to Gibbs that his friend was a Marine though there was no record of his friend's service in the military.

From reading that, I think there's a possibility that Vance's 'childhood friend' was someone high up in command and Vance might had been covering up his death and/or disappearance. Maybe he was to be the director and Vance was to be his right hand man and some event occurred that forced Vance to take over under suspect circumstances. Like I said, it's a far fetched theory, especially from someone who isn't caught up to the current episodes. But maybe it holds some weight.

Well, that explains the eye and I'm so glad that they FINALLY mention Decker's insurance policy. I thought the writers had forgotten about it and dropped it, like never explaining who was the mystery redhead that was always giving Gibbs a lift in her car.

Two things:

1) I live 10 mins away from Burtonsville (with traffic) and there is no where in the DC metro area that is THAT rural and has mountains. It is one of the many inconsistencies of the show that I hate (if they actually filmed on location, they'd have a more accurate portrayal of my area).

2) My three guesses for the photo. Gibbs, Ziva, or EJ.

I think EJ, but could be Ziva since she hangs with the Mossad.

I am also theorizing a possible Palmer or Ducky situation there.

Good resolution to P2P. I was thinking: hey, no cliffhanger

No such luck - and NCIS:LA was worse.

Callen's a Russian Mafia Baby? Whoohoo? Hetty's his, what, Mom? Grandma, Aunt?

EJ's quit so probably not. It's probably Gibbs, which means it's fake some one setting him up. I'd also guess it could be Trent Kort since he's on the run. They didn't say it was an agent, just someone with access stealing and selling information.

Thanks for spoiling the NCIS:LA finale for me! Hey, you ever seen Citizen Kane? If not... rosebud is a sled.

dude, sorry - it was on right after - we were "spoiling" NCIS already, so .... like I said, sorry.

and EJ's supposed to be "around" and Tony's been with her, so this could be a continuation of all his relationship woes. Plus she is the former NavSec's Daughter too.

I love that you're "fairly" impressed by a Superman show lasting a decade on television. But there is no unsatisfying ending to Smallville. There's only one way this show is going to end now:
