Seriously, I wonder what the heck took them so long to think of that. He's been champion since November 22, for crying out loud, and it's only now, about four months into his reign (the longest WWE Title reign since Triple H's April-November '08 reign) that they realize, "Hey, he could be a real dick and stick the WWE logo upside-down to make an M."
Really. Really?! Really? Any kindergartner preschooler looking at an alphabet sign for the first time could have said, "Hey, the W looks like an M upside-down."

So...how many people here are ordering the show? I found out that it's just shy of $65.00 in HD - that's a pretty steep price for a four hour show. It was suggested that I could save it to my PVR for future viewing, but I'm still not sure.

I wouldn't pay $65 for it, even with a PVR. The Blu-ray of it will no doubt be half that and have bonus features, chapter selection usw.

It's amazing how they can look at their PPV numbers sinking to fifteen year lows and still feel justified charging such completely astronomical prices. I will watch, but some other way ;)

I don't have Cable but I was going to check out the WWE.com stream and was astounded to find out that it was about $50 (and it wouldn't have worked anyway since it's PC only). :/
I agree - at a time when buy rates are down, this is kind of overkill. I get that it's their big show and it's four hours but, man, they need to sit down and reconsider.

Geez, that's a sad fact. FOUR MONTHS is the longest reign in three years. It actually seemed like WWE was getting back into the habit of longer reigns earlier in the decade --- Triple H's long runs with the World title, Batista's first reign, Cena having two really long runs with the WWE championship, etc.

Undertaker v. Triple H (No Holds Barred); Like the last 2 Wrestlemanias with HBK, this one will definitely have its fair share of moments where you think the streak could have its end but it doesn't. 'Taker goes 19-0.
The Miz (c) v. John Cena (WWE Championship); Like some other people, I was 100% completely sold on Cena winning the title back. Now with The Miz being a legit title holder and arguably the top heel in the company, I can see Miz retaining though I will still go with Cena winning here. With that being said, I can also see The Rock and Cena together getting one final blow on The Miz.
Edge (c) v. Alberto Del Rio (World Heavyweight Title); The last 2 or 3 years, the Rumble winner has not won the world title. I will say ADR becomes the first heel since Yokozuna to win the Rumble and title.
John Morrison/Trish Stratus/Snooki v. Dolph Ziggler/LayCool; I think it is pretty obvious that the faces win here and Snooki gets the pin.
Randy Orton v. CM Punk; Orton gets the win but as Geemoney pointed out, Orton will probably win via DQ to continue this feud.
Michael Cole v. Jerry "The King" Lawler (Stone Cold Steve Austin Special Guest Referee); Lawler gets the W and his Wrestlemania moment but of course it has to end with Austin stunning Cole and Swagger if he is in Cole's corner.
Sheamus (c) v. Daniel Bryan (US Championship); I can see Bryan winning it back but considering Sheamus until the last couple weeks was on a losing streak, I will say Sheamus retain here.
Cody Rhodes v. Rey Mysterio; A win here would help Cody Rhodes out here but one has to think because it is wrestling's biggest stage, Rey will win. I think I will go with the upset here and say Cody Rhodes wins.
The Corre v. Big Show/Kane/....; I will say the faces win in this one though it is hard to define Kane as a face (or heel for that matter) as he flip-flops every week to what he is.
YOUR WORLD CHAMPION, EDGE - HUNTED, SHAKEN? - DEFENDS TITLE AGAINST THE ONE, ALBERTO DEL RIO (HE IS UNITED WITH STAFF: ANNOUNCER RICARDO RODRIGUEZ AND NOTED LACKEY BRODUS CLAY).
DOES CHRISTIAN (PULLED FROM NETHER-CARD?) DECIDE TO ENGAGE IN OFFBEAT SHENANIGANS? (WITH HIS KAZOO? ODD.) INDEED, BUT YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT, CORRECT?
DUDE, RUN-INS RULE! (NOT REALLY)
Prediction: Edge
THE VIPER, RANDAL KEITH ORTON, SEETHING, ATTEMPTS TO SETTLE BLOOD GRUDGE WITH HARSH, NEXUS-LESS CM PUNK (HE IS NOT SORRY). BE ASSURED, NEITHER CAN AFFORD TO GO TO SLEEP.
THIS APEX PREDATOR THINS HERD USING PUNTS, LEAVES LONE TATTOOED PREY (WHO STILL MOCKS, MENACES). THEN, TO BOOT, HE REBUFFS STRAIGHTEDGE...GETS DRUNK ON TERROR, HIS ALE.
I'm going to go out on a huge limb and say that since they're likely ending the show with UT/HHH, that Miz retains after Rock wipes out Cena. We get the Cena/Rock build and Miz continues to shoot off into the stratosphere with his Miz belt.
THE UNDERTAKER v. TRIPLE H: NO HOLDS BARRED
All the hallmarks of a classic match will be here. Triple H will throw everything and the kitchen sink (not to mention his trademark sledgehammer) at him, but Undertaker wins with a Tombstone onto a chair.
EDGE v. ALBERTO DEL RIO
I don't think Christian's getting tossed in or we'd have found out by now. We get face miscommunication when Christian tries to whack Del Rio with a chair and nails Edge instead. Del Rio wins the title and we get fresh dissension rumors between Edge and Christian.
JERRY LAWLER v. MICHAEL COLE
This is it. Cole needs to GET KILLED here and nothing less will justify all the time and effort put into making him evil. Lawler wins. Swagger and Cole eat Stunners. JR, the Divas, R-Truth, and Josh Matthews are all allowed to get licks in. Cole eats another Stunner. Massive celebration. Cole eats ANOTHER Stunner. If Vince McMahon can eat the mother of all beatdowns last year, they HAVE to do something similar for a toolbox like Cole.
JOHN MORRISON, TRISH STRATUS & SNOOKI v. DOLPH ZIGGLER & LAYCOOL
Sad to see that after all he's done in the last few months that THIS winds up being Morrison's big Wrestlemania payday, but I think bigger things are ahead for him anyway. The heels win after Vickie-ference, but the faces all get theirs on Vickie to make the crowd happy.
RANDY ORTON v. CM PUNK
Punk has to have one ace in the hole left, so I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say Skip Sheffield comes back and helps Punk win the match. Feud continues.
SHEAMUS v. DANIEL BRYAN: UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
Sheamus has been on a roll and I don't think it ends here. Sheamus wins clean.
CODY RHODES v. REY MYSTERIO
Rey wins, but makes Cody look like a million bucks. It's really too bad that Del Rio's getting the world title push and that Barrett just won the Intercontinental title, because Cody needs SOMETHING to chase while the iron's hot.
THE BIG SHOW, KANE, SANTINO MARELLA & VLADIMIR KOZLOV v. THE CORRE
I'm a little surprised that they're letting Jackson wrestle, since they've been trying really hard to keep him out of matches. The Corre guys win to keep their dominance going.
World Heavyweight Title Match: Edge (c) Vs. Alberto Del Rio
Edge retains Christian assists Edge
Mixed Tag Match: John Morrison/Trish Stratus/Snooki Vs. Dolph Ziggler/Laycool
Hrm...Snooki's team, for the TMZ moment.
Randy Orton Vs. CM Punk
I want to say CM Punk, I beg you to make it Punk. But I think it will be Orton
Cody Rhodes Vs. Rey Mysterio
Cody Rhodes, using the mask and the brace.
Jerry "The King" Lawler Vs. Michael Cole w/Swagger Special ref: Steve Austin Austin takes out Swagger, Lawler wins. Post match, Stunners for all. Not sure yet if Lawler will get one. They will at least tease it
United States Title Match: Sheamus (c) Vs. Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan (a guy can hope, right?)
Eight-Man Tag Team Match: The Corre Vs. Big Show/Kane/Kozlov/Santino
The Corre wins. Post-match the faces destroy them.
Punk over Orton in a way that keeps the feud going past WM
Jersey Shore over ZigLayCool
Lawler over Cole. Strap will come down.
Del Rio over Edge
UT over HHH
Miz v. Cena. Now this one is interesting. I read that they have supposedly moved this back into the final spot. Also, I read as most of us have that Rock is scheduled to appear on the RAW after WM.
With everything that went down last night, I'm going to steal an idea I saw posted on Twitter by the lovely and talented Athena, the Wrestling Goddess (twitter.com) and say that somehow Rock leaves WM with the WWE title. I can't for the life of me figure out how the chain of events goes down, but something about that picture seems to make sense to me in a really odd sort of way.
- Mysterio d. Rhodes - The Corre d. Show, Kane, Santino, & Kozlov (Barrett pins Kozlov) - Sheamus d. Bryan to retain the US title - Morrison, Stratus, & Snooki d. Ziggler, Layla, & McCool (Snooki pins Layla) - Orton d. Punk - Alberto Del Rio d. Edge to win the World title - Lawler d. Cole - Miz d. Cena to retain the WWE title - Undertaker d. Triple H
EDIT 04/01: On second thought, I can see them putting Snooki over Ziggler to pay off Vickie beating Morrison a few weeks ago - plus, they can say she beat a former World Champion.
Originally posted by John OrquiolaShow/Kane/Kozlov/Santino (opening match if there ever was one)
Really? Of the last five Wrestlemanias, two opened with Money in the Bank and two opened with Tag Team Championship matches. The other was a street fight. I don't see them opening the show with the match that not only has far less heat than anything else on the card but also doesn't have any stipulations to get the crowd excited.
They'll need the eight man tag to give the crowd a chance to cool down later in the card. I'm guessing they open with Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes.
I could also see them opening with the US title match but Mysterio is going to generate a bigger pop and giving him the opening match could be part of the gesture of gratitude that is the entire feud with Cody.
First off, I will not be ordering the PPV. I will be at a sports bar that I saw the last two PPV's.
Now, to the predictions...
1) Undertaker/HHH (No Holds Barred) - Definitely going to go back and forth. I'm sure HBK will be involved, but he will get destroyed. Undertaker with the Tombstone pin, but there will be some tense counts. Then, Undertaker takes another vacation for 6 months.
2) Cena/Miz (WWE Title/M Title) - If it was a couple of weeks ago, I would have definitely said that Cena is the new champion. Now, with everything going on the last couple of weeks, I actually see Rock attacking Miz, causing Cena to be disqualified, and then hitting the People's Elbow on Cena. Of course, Miz will still come out as champion.
3) Edge/Del Rio (WORLD Title Match) - Destiny will be fulfilled for Del Rio and wins the title by Christian's chair shot to the arm of Edge (of course with the ref out), and Del Rio wins with the armbar submission. Christian destroys Edge after the match.
4) Cole/Lawler (Announcer's Grudge Match/Austin as referee) - Likely to be short, Lawler with the flying fist drop, and then Swagger gets stunned, Cole gets stunned. Either one of two things will happen...Cole is out Monday, or Cole wears the "Bobby Heenan Memorial Neckbrace" for the next six months.
5) Morrison/Trish/Snooki vs Ziggler/Layla/Michelle (6-person tag match) - Good side wins after Trish knocks Layla down with Stratusfaction, Snooki gets tagged in, and gets the pin.
6) Rhodes/Mysterio (At least this match has a reason match) - Rhodes finally gets his big moment with the Cross-rhodes after the maskbutt.
7) Orton/Punk (Revenge Match) - Orton with the RKO, probably from a situation never done before. Afterwards, Punk gets punted.
8) Sheamus/Bryan (US Title Match) - Sheamus with the Brogue Kick and pin.
9) Corre vs Santino/Koslov/Kane/Big Show (8-man Tag Team Match) - Corre by Wasteland then 450 splash on Santino.
This is probably the first time in a long time that I could remember that I am excited about a PPV. Maybe it seemed like months that they have been pushing these storylines, but bring me to Sunday!!!

I think the shirt has a double meaning. For both Russo and McMahon. Maybe its for Vince Carter, people are pissed at him for using his long reach to grab that foul ball.
