Long time CRZ board readers will know that I am a big fan of the Big Show. You may also remember that I have been looking for a return of the Big Guy / Small Guy team like Kane & X-pac.
I have to say, I am really happy with the way that the match last night went with X-pac and Show. They compliment each other in the ring, and I thought it was a really good match.
I really like where this NWO feud with Booker and Golddust is going.
I agree. I think X-Pac and the Big Show make a pretty entertaining tag team and I think both, especially the Big Show, are better suited for the tag team role. It would be nice to see X-Pac in the light heavyweight division on Smackdown (he had some AWESOME matches with Kidman around Invasion), but considering the roster that he is on, he really doesn't have many good one-on-one opponents. Same with Big Show. I like the whole Booker-Goldust thing, and hopefully it will lead to a huge push for Booker.

Hey, Guru, no trolling, remember?
Just kidding... I agree. I always liked Show doing comedy (like The Showster or on SNL), but kicking ass when he needs to do so. The fued between the nWo and Booker and Goldust is the best (sometimes it seems ONLY) reason to watch Raw. Here are 2 guys (Book, Show) who are charismatic, but haven't been given the time to shine, and 2 guys who we thought were past their prime proving us wrong (X-Pac and Goldie- well, I don't know if everyone else thought Dustin was past his prime, but I sure as hell thought the Goldust character was dated until recently) . Let's see if Michaels and Nash can do what the Ratty Little Sucka and the Sick Freak are doing in the future.
Hey...does anybody else see the obvious similarities between The Big Show and Chewbacca?
Just kidding...
I also enjoy the Big Show, Zim, as he is LARGE and in charge!...just like his old t-shirt said.

I want ShowPac to reprise the tag-team finisher that KanePac had... the gorilla press/drop the little guy onto the opponent.
Either that, or Show could chokeslam Pac onto their opponent. That way, they could win AND we'd get to see 'Pac getting chokeslammed ALL THE TIME. And he could whine every time. "But Keeeeevin, he's HURTING meeee!"

My opinion, show hasn't been happening since he was the deal in WCW. I've never cared for Sean - he does nothing for me - his moves are, if possible, even more predictable than Bret Hart's. His look is nasty. He no sells moves that KILL other guys.
that being said, I also enjoyed the match Monday. But anything to see Goldie laying in the buckingbronco.

Examples, along with your definition of "no-sell"?
Mean Gene: "You know, I don't think it's a question - Goldberg, I don't think it's a question of who's next, I think it's a question of who's left?" Goldberg: "No, see, that's where you're wrong. It ain't who's left, it's - WHO'S NEXT?"

Is... that a "The Prisoner" reference? Could it be that someone here has watched that show?
I am also a fan of "big man/little man" tag teams. I've thought for a while that Show's role should be as a member of a tag team... I dug Show and Tajiri's short lived pairing.
How hard is it to quote a post w/o sending your entire new post into italics hell? I'm not singling anybody out here, because SO MANY people on this board seem to struggle with it. Make sure the quotehead, quotemid and quoteend are all intact and in brackets people.

I thought it was a reference to Austin Powers: "WHO DOES NUMBER TWO WORK FOR? WHO DOES NUMBER TWO WORK FOR?"
On the topic at hand, the Fed has 2 solid teams in Big Show/X-Pac and Booker T/Goldust. Can't they get a tag-team division going by floating the tag belts and form teams for those stuck in the mid-to-under card and have nothing to do at the moment? Granted, I really have no interest in seeing Chuck and Billy twice a week, but this division really needs a shot in the arm.

A weekly chokeslamming of X-Pac might actually get me to watch RAW instead of just reading CRZ's recap.....

I can't quote any real recent ones because I have moved to doing other things when he's on... but, back in syxx days on Nitro, he took the harlem hangover from the guys and kicked out. I have seen him no sell kicks (that is, the kick is layed in and he ignores it) until he gets his three moves of doom in. Once he gets the kick, spinnning back kick and broncho-buster in, he'll job. Unless the guy he's facing is politically lower than Kevin, then the guys gets an X-Factor.
Sorry, Bucs - other people hate Hogan, I have little Sean Waltmannnnnnn
This is the greatest post in the history of all great posts.
They may be a good team, but I KNOW the WWE can do better. Hell, they have the freakin' Impact Players in their back pockets! If you want big man/little man, I say go with Taker and, I don't know, maybe Kidman. That way Taker is out of the main event and Kidman is almost guaranteed TV time.
Hell yeah there are some fans of "The Prisoner" on this board. Obscure references, but still a good out there show. Ever seen the Simpsons episode that parodies it? Too too funny.
I don't like Big Show or X-Pac. Having them both on, and at the same time to boot, is excruciating. Right now, they are the ONLY thing wrong with the Booker-Goldie hookup. I don't really have a smarky-smark reason not to like them (ie workrate, past characters, backstage politics) they just bore the piss out of me.

Amen to that!
