I liked it. A good old school vibe, some cool quick action shots. Very heavy on the "how scrawny Steve becomes Cap" which probably means it's told relatively quickly in the movie as well. Nice to see scrawny Steve hold a trash can like it's a shield.
It seemed a bit less heavy on the cool-comedy bits like Thor and especially Iron-man. Makes sense since this is a whole different era of course.
I really liked the Red Skull reveal followed by Cap leading the charge of what looks like the Howling Commandos. Cap is shooting a gun, nice. I have high hopes for this one.

Ok. I can dig it. But does this mean that there's no more FF movies in the que?
It was reported a while ago already that Fox would try to do a reboot/relaunch of the Fantastic Four. Regardless of the actual story, they would use new actors.
If they wouldn't make another movie, they'd lose the rights to make it. (see also: X-men first class)

The Cap apparently only fights Hydra, not Nazis.
/pet peeve
My understanding is that Hydra is a faction of the Nazis like the SS, with Red Skull as the leader.
They mention Adolf Hitler, so at least we know they aren't ignoring them like the Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon does (my only problem with that great little show).
I am probably jumping the gun here on Mr. John O, but I have to talk about this episode. I thought this was easily the best episode of the season so far. All three stories were great and made sense.
