From wwe.com

"Catch Stacy, Torrie and all of WWE's Divas on this TNN special Saturday at midnight/11 CT"

No word on why the Divas special was postponed, although looking at the spoilers, it sounded pretty bad.

Well, at least this way we'll see MORE of the Divas, if you catch my drift...

And if you don't, I'm talking about what we all came here to see: gratuitous nudity!

Yes, it is sexist, but I'm merely a product of a sexist society, which in turn indemnifies me from any wrongdoing.

The reason it got rescheduled was because it was apperently too racy for primetime.

This is good and bad. Good cause I am working till 9:00 tonight and wouldn't be back home till close to 10. Bad because it is kind of an odd time to get away from your significant other to go watch "wrestling". Wonder if I'll even try...

Well DMC, the Divas Undressed Pageant isn't really wrestling, per ce...so I'd be a little hesitant to duck away from the womenfolk to watch it. Why go out for burgers when you got steak at home, eh?

You have to wonder if someone at TNN didn't catch on to the total lack of ratings this thing was likely to draw and decided to bury it in the schedule. Perhaps this is just the WWE spin on their being told their not-quite-porn wasn't ready for prime time.

Anyone remember the joy of seeing him bash the Undertaker's motorcycle with his sledgemhammer and doing no damage and being all like, "Mjolnir will not break thine cycle? I say thee NAY!" and dumping it off the stage. - Enojado Viento says the funniest thing I've ever read on Wienerville.

Yes, because A-Team and Baywatch re-runs are just BLAZING up the chart. ;-)

Well considering that IIRC the WWE Divas show on UPN drew low enough ratings to embarass that network, where an hour of watching a dog crap could be one of their highest rated shows, I'm not sure that the A-Team wouldn't draw higher than the moved WWE program.

From The Great and Powerful Meltzer:

--As mentioned yesterday, the WWE Divas lingerie special scheduled for last night was moved to Saturday night at midnight, following Confidential. TNN had concerns over the content of the tape it received and cancelled last night's airing at literally the last minute.

See? Ratings had NOTHING to do with it.

So TNN has no problem showing Pam Anderson popping out of her tops but won't let the divas do the same? Either its somwwhat hypocritical or the show is pretty darn racy.

Yeah, I don't entirely buy the too-hot-for-prime-time thing, either. That may have had something to do with it, but Saturday at midnight is a REALLY shit time slot. There are ways to get it out of prime time without putting it there.

I totally agree with the low ratings argument. In the current ratings situation, any extra WWF (screw the E) program is not exactly going to give any Network a ratings victory by a longshot. The T and A factor is not enough to get people interested. This sort of thing hasn't been very popular recently. Look at the last bra and panties match - the audience was DEAD! (In contrast, listen to the crowd reaction to the ladies' tag match on the last Raw.) The kind of people who pop for T and A will love it if it shows up, but they won't actively try to watch this special.

Wouldn't it be great if Molly made a surprise appearence and hit all of those "divas" over the head with a steel chair? After that, she could totally crush Trish and further their fued. They could actually tie it into the storyline and it would fit with Molly's character of being pure but having a BIG mean streak.

-=sigh=- Wishful thinking.

Yep.

And *I* bet HHH had it rescheduled, because he's keeping the Divas down!

That may be the funniest thing I've ever seen. Thank you, Scorpio. You've renewed my faith in people I barely know, have never actually seen, and don't really have to interact with in any form but text.

Well I've actually been saying that for the past month. Fit Finley was getting praised for the improved Raw women division, then the last month we saw Fit on television mostly breaking up HHH non-match fights with people on Smackdown, The same month that the women division went to hell with the "Ass Angle". Coincidence. I THINK NOT!... And please save your 'details' about Fit not writing and just training, I don't want to hear it, It's HHH fault.

To quote Art Bell "It's all coming together now"

I did find it ironic that they replaced the Diva show with RoboCop, now that's good ol' fashion family entertainment.
