If you signed up already and are wondering where the league you signed up for is, well, it's gone.
Yahoo set up a feature that I did not see that when inviting last years players that locked their teams in, which locks new managers out. Apparently they forgot to put an opt out option, because I could not find a fix and other leagues seemed to have the same problems.
We're good now though, hopefully you think so too and sign up a second time.
Or if this is your first time reading this get in and sign up.
Just got into fantasy baseball last year. I like that it's a roto league, but I just don't have the time to micromanage in a league where you can move people into and out of the starting lineup on a daily basis. And I feel like I'd be at too much of a disadvantage playing against the people who did have such time.
I prevaricated about joining this for so long last year and by the time I made up my mind the league was full, so this year I've made the decision to join nice and early.
* There is not room in this league if all teams from last year return. To join, get the commissioner to increase the maximum number of teams, or remove teams that will not be returning. (Error #638)

You may feel free to remove my team (the Downtown Bookies) as well. I enjoyed my initial foray into Rotisserie-style baseball last season, and I was pleasantly surprised by my results. However, like Mr. Boffo, keeping up with daily starting line-up changes proved to be more of a commitment than I prefer (I figure a league with weekly roster settings along with a larger starters-to-bench ratio will be more my speed). So good luck to whoever should take my place, and I hope you have at least as much fun as I did last season.

Alright, this is a new thing I must have put in without know it. I'm trying to figure out how to disable it. It should be first come first serve.
Originally posted by KevintripodIs the league set up for slotted players only allowed to play a certain amount of games?
Or can a slotted player play a unlimited amount of games through the whole season?
Position players are only allowed to play 162 games, keeping it somewhat level for people who can't be there every day.
The depth of the teams may be adjusted before the draft depending on how many people sign up. The league is still on last years settings with 17 teams.

Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in. The Downtown Bookies have joined the league for the 2011 season. Good luck to all.

I don't think the Reds are nearly as good as the Rockies last year and they are currently farther back than the Rockies were at this point last season but the good news is the Wild Card race might not be as tough this season.
