I'd love to vote for Bryan/Dolph...but that HBK/UT match really WAS good and probably deserves the praise that it gets, considering how much pressure was put on both of them to put on a good follow-up to last year's blockbuster.
I love Dolph and Bryan and think they should be proud that they made it this high up.
I never would have considered anything other than Taker vs. HBK II as Match of the Year until wwe.com brought up Bryan vs. Ziggler. I do think the first Taker vs. Michaels was their better match but that's irrelevant to whether II is the best match of 2010.
In the end, besides feeling like rooting for the underdog, I think of it this way: Do I vote for the two warhorse veterans in front of the biggest PPV stage of the year who had to match expectations from their first match, though they arguably exceeded it? Or do I vote for the match that had little build up, featured two young up and comers (one of whom was fired and just re-hired), and came out of nowhere in a non-big four PPV and surprised everyone who saw it with an incredible match no one saw coming and surpassing any and all expectations? The former should probably edge out the latter all things considered.
But fuck that: Bryan and Dolph.

This is a nice piece of optics on behalf of the WWE, actually. To the casual fan, they see this and can think "Ziggler and Bryan are on the same level as Undertaker and HBK?". To the more "smark" fans, it makes us consider that the WWE is serious about pushing some young talent who deliver the goods.
I saw both matches, I voted for Bryan vs Ziggler because it was very very awesome.

Well, after the first real episode last year(aka, not the casting special) I correctly picked Maven and Nidia to win. Let's see if I can one-up myself and pick from the casting special: Hawk and Anni to win.
