The current regime at Marvel can't get me interested in their books with your money, but their movie and cartoon divisions are kicking all kinds of ass and this looks to continue that trend . . .

Talk about stolen thunder. All of the footage in this trailer was leaked last summer when the ten minute presentation from Comic Con ended up online. It doesn't seem like anything in regards to the visual effects were enhanced from what was shown at Comic Con. And I'm left with the same impression: I dunno about Thor. I hope the actual movie is grander and more impressive than how it seems in the trailer.
Out of all the Marvel movies to come out, I think Cap is going to be the one that will tip over the cart leading to Avengers. Thor looks like as good as it going to be. People going into to Thor are probably more prepared for the fantastic then any of the other Marvel films.

The trailer seems to try to at least ground it a bit. Sure, you see Asgard and battles there, but there's also him just kicking ass in regular clothes. That works for me.
One of my gripes is the hammer. It looks..boring? Either make it look older and such, or use the original one they had in the ultimates, more of a battle hammer/axe kinda thing.
I'm looking forward to this, because Marvel seems to know what they're doing with these movies.
I assume they won't repeatedly bring up the Avengers (they were smart enough not to do that in the Ironman movies) So I can't wait for the semi-hidden nods and hints. :)

I saw the Superman one and I enjoyed the Kneel before King Superman and taking a good chunk for the Dark Knight Returns to do Superman vs. Batman. The Brainiac cameo with the monkey was great.
