You're respected by your peers regardless of what company you work for, well thought of, and generally thought of as being excellent. They continually false start your pushes and can job you out with poor story lines and feuds.

Meanwhile, someone who is 37 years of age gets released from a rival promotion. Like it or not, he wasn't exactly lighting the word on fire there. He gets brought into your company and gets pushed into the main event. Meanwhile you still toil about wondering what else it would take for you stay at the very top.

Take this scenario and multiply it a few times and welcome to the world of AJ Styles. Where you all you need is a bit of WWE/WCW (preferably both) exposure to immediately jump ahead of the curve.

I think you mean Joe more then AJ, the longest running TNA champion of all time. AJ has been a multiple world champion and headlined a ton of PPVs in the last two years. Every champion has to go back of the line for awhile, this is AJ's time even though at anytime, he could turn and be in the World Title match in a second. Has he been in the past pushed back, sure, everyone is when a company gets a new acquisition and wants to push hard. MVP should knew, he has been that guy who gets pushed back. He hasn't world titles, headlined PPVs and so like AJ. I love AJ, but I am not going to cry for him.

Joe, Kaz and other TNA originals have been pushed back, but this year AJ, Beer Money, MCMG, Lethal and I think Kaz all had titles this year, hell MCMG still has their tag titles. So, yes has TNA moved someone like Joe who should going for the title instead of Morgan in another crappy JJ feud. If anyone has a bone to pick with Hogan & Bischoff its either people like Kong, Daniels and those who have been fired as well as Joe. Everyone had and continues to have good spots on the show. Granted, I would love to see more X-Division, KO and tag matches plus less Hogan and Bischoff. Yet, its two hour show and they spent money on Hogan, Bischoff, Jeff and Anderson, its a waste of money if they don't use them. Plus, Flair will be gone by the time the WCW HOF comes around, so Fortune will be gone by January. MVP can easily go to TNA and be a good draw for them. They would be stupid not to get him.

I sort-of agree about Joe, but I think the "elephant in the room" with him is his conditioning. Seems to be improving, but he did let himself slide and you'd always wonder when/if he'd let himself slide again.

I like MVP, but I don't think he brought anything unique to the product. He needs a more serious gimmick and needs to work with more energy. Maybe he'll spend some time in Japan and come back to WWE with a renewed focus.

By conditioning do you mean appearance or cardiovascular capacity? Because I've seen jiggly Joe work 60 minutes without gassing more than once. (Wow, that sentence is ugly. I of course mean I have seen Joe work 60 minutes on multiple occasions. In those times, he never appeared to become gassed.)

I think Joe is more handicapped by having to treat Jeff Jarrett as a threat.

But, as I ponder upon, a Pope/MVP team could be a hot stable foundation.

Isn't that more of an issue with management, though? There's nothing wrong with bringing in guys who can contribute, like MVP, and using them that way, but whoever's booking seems to have a serious case of Shiny New Toy Syndrome. They've got the talent to at least be more competitive, but no clue how to properly make use of it.

He's 37 years old and has been visibly jobbed out by the biggest wrestling company in the world for the past eighteen months. Deserved push or not, TNA probably shouldn't be lookin to him as anything other than a midcard pickup, and even then they've got waaaay too many of those guys as it is.

Dear troll,

This thread isn't about TNA, unless you take MVP's tweet to mean he's headed for TNA International...which makes you an idiot, because there is no such thing.

If Angle can't get Haas and Benjamin in and if Jeff can't get Gregory Helms in then TNA might actually be bad enough off that they're in a real hiring freeze right now. Unless you become hardcore country friends with Dixie.

Define "draw." It seems, based on ratings and (what we know about) buyrates, no one in TNA is a real "draw." Not Hogan, not Flair, not Hardy. So I don't know what kind of "draw" you really mean here.

He's far more handicapped by Russo's booking. Look at how Joe was booked his first year and a half in TNA vs How he's been booked the last four years with Russo in charge.

Yes, I am the troll in this where I jokingly mention MVP going to TNA then follow it up with another joke after one of Amos' traditional Anti-TNA rant.

As for Joe, I do feel bad for him both for being viewed as a fat Rock and for the booking committee treating him like a second thought. I just don't see him or AJ or Kaz or any of the other TNA guys doing that well in WWE either. The best thing you can say is that at least he is on TV and in most if not all of their PPVs. I do remember hearing that was a freeze going on, but with Mickie's hire I thought it was over. If there is still a freeze going on I expect it to thaw out after Hogan, Flair and Bischoff leave.

Do you really not see that this is the textbook definition of trolling? You went trolling, you successfully trolled Amos, and if that wasn't enough, you then bragged about it.

"Whoa! Just a joke!" is a pitiful defense but a favourite one for trolls.

Please don't troll.

So apparently MVP is going to end his WWE career (for now) by eating a faceful of table and getting chokeslammed by Kane. Eh, still better than going out with Cryme Tyme selling your underwear.

Says the guy with a avatar of one sparkly anime girl feeling up another sparkly girls boobs.

Give him a few years off in Japan or whatever and he can come back and get his win back. Kane will still be there, I'm sure.

I wouldn't think so. It's not derived from his real name, and he never used it before he was in WWE developmental. I'm not sure what the rules are for Japan, but if he showed up in TNA I think he'd have to use something else.

He can just go back to the name he used in ROH and the indies: Antonio Bank$. That's with the dollar sign. Maybe Ke$ha could be his valet. Or maybe not.
