Shad Luke Gallows Vance Archer Cayden Croft Tiffany (no surprise) Jillian Hall (mild surprise, she was taken off TV to work with the FCW Divas. Ha ha. Joke's on her!)
Also, PWInsider reported Big Dick Johnson was released as he was part of the creative team.
My Smackdown vs. RAW 2011 roster just got that much more obsolete.
Tiffany doesn't suprise me at all becuase she was taken off TV ever since her 'dust-up' with Drew McIntyre.
Caylen Croft suprises me a bit unless they are planning on releaseing Trent Barreta soon too. Not too suprised about Luke Gallows, kinda saw that coming when the SES ended. Shad Gaspard as well, when he was sent down to FCW you the end was coming especially with influx of talent via NXT.
Jillian Hall surpises me especially since they sent her down to FCW to do training.

Perhaps Jillian got released as 'talent' and will continue just as trainer?
I bet there will be more to come. Right now I cannot even remember the other dudebuster. Usually I'm good with remembering the roster ;)

Those must have been extremely vicious negotiations. Probably had to cave in on the 3rd year though to keep him from jumping to TNA. Remember when CM Punk offered to eat a pinfall in order to keep Luke Gallows strong for their eventual feud? Guess Punk isn't great at forecasting the wrestling future.
Yeah, that Cryme Tyme split really worked out for both guys, didn't it? This is the future for the former Hart Dynasty.
Speaking of broken tag teams, what's up with releasing HALF of every tag team? Croft's out, but Baretta's still around? Gallows is out, but Mercury's still here? Goodbye Archer, hello Hawkins? This doesn't make any sense. It's not like any of the guys that are still around scream "singles success".
Jillian Hall outlived her usefulness LONG ago. I'm really not sorry to see her go and am relieved I won't have to endure her stupid gimmick anymore.

WWE would probably still sign new talent and fire old talent without split rosters.

Co-signed.
I'm surprised the WWE released three big guys. Shad got more of a singles push than JTG (though they both were marginal presences after the team split). I hadn't seen Vance since his partner turned on him as well.
I still have hope JTG can emerge as a midcarder. He's got a nice moveset.

Plus, good luck finding airtime for Del Rio, Truth, Morrison, Ziggler, Bourne, Punk, DiBiase, Rhodes, McIntyre, Bryan, etc. etc. etc. if they have to compete with Cena, Orton, Edge, Kane, Mysterio, Nexus, Undertaker, Sheamus, Big Show, Miz, and the token women's match on every single show if you do away with the brand extension. The split roster's really the best format for lesser guys to eventually break out. For every ten Shads under this system, there's at least one Alberto Del Rio.
Days like today bum me out. Gallows, many times was given chicken shit and turned it gold. He has heart, hustles, and loves wrestling.
I agree about Gallows, he was rarely given much to work with, but always seemed to try. I still don't know why SES was broken up? Were their drug/alcohol references too edgy for PG?
Once again it appears obvious that being placed in a tag team is pretty much your death knell in the WWE these days. You have no chance whatsoever to get over, because WWE just doesn't give a shit. If they don't, why should we? It's sad.

Agreed. Yet, if they did have tag teams they won't need a brand split, because they would have 4 guys in one match instead of every match on Raw or Smackdown being a singles match unless its the big stars tagging once a month. I am a little shocked by Jillian, but at least they cut someone in creative which is what they should do when they don't have stuff to do for the talent. I wonder if this is more election mess then Vince's contract which by the way is just cold to do on the same day as this.
Originally posted by wannaberockstarSad about Gallows, too. It's a shame more on the roster can't get airtime - even with two shows, that's still only four hours for such a big roster.
WGN's Superstars should be a haven for new talent paying their dues. It seems a perfect overflow show between RAW and SmackDown.

Ironic, considering he played the fake Kane in an angle a few years ago.
Anybody else happen to see Heat tonight? For some reason, Jim Ross was doing commentary with Coach. For the most part, Coach played it straight, and JR called the action.
