The documentary looks very impressive, at least based on the subject matter. The matches though, are a different story. I have the last two (Royal Rumble '92 and the Gimmick Battle Royal) on other DVD's already (both are great Brain moments though, and are a must have) but I'm not sure about the other ones.

Yeah, most of the matches where he was a 'sanctioned participant' were campy gimmick matches. It would have been far more interesting to have some matches where he was a manager.
Still, a must-have. I can't believe how much of the documentary stuff I immediately remembered watching in its original airing.
I can't wait to see it for the old AWA stuff which I grew up on HATING him, and also the tribute to Gorilla. I remember that, too, and thought it was very, very cool.
