I was just wondering if anyone else was a fan of the show? I was really disapointed when it wasn't renewed for a third season (just as the show seemed to finally be picking up steam and going somewhere really interesting!).
I'm a big fan of the Termiantor series (well, the first two movies, anyway) and I thought the casting for the series was perfect. Pretty good effects considering the budget, too.
Oh well, at least they released both seasons on DVD/Blu-Ray.
I was annoyed by the alterations to the Glau robot from the pilot to the series.
I really enjoyed the season finale scene with the bodies of the cops falling into the pool as they tried to apprehend the evil cyborg. That was nicely done.

Another great point about the series: how well they took the Terminator concept beyond just hunt/chase every week on a budget.
I didn't mind that it forked its own continuity from after T2. I don't recall anyone ever getting sick of seeing evil Terminator/John Henry.
Say Paul, did you recently lose your job or get really sick and bed-ridden or something? You've posted more in the past week than you have in FOUR YEARS. Just curious!

Aw, here I was thinking that a continuation of the storyline (TV-movie, graphic novel, whatever) had been confirmed ... :(

Sorry- I didn't mean to get your hopes up. I'd love to see the concept continue as a series of TV movies but I don't really see that happening.
I enjoyed this series a lot. Not a big fan of Dekker but I thought Lena Headey and Summer Glau were both really good (even though it did bother me too that Glau suddenly turned robotic after the pilot.) Even Brian Austin Green was a surprise. The great find though was Garret Dillahunt. I had never seen him anything and he went from playing a convincing Terminator to a really good comedic turn on Raising Hope. Definitely looking to see more from him.
Also for anybody that hasn't seen it yet, or wants to watch it again, both seasons are also on Netflix Instant.
