Saw this last night, and while not bad, it didn't live up to my high expectations. Another case of the trailers giving too much of the movie away. Thumbs up to the voice casting as everything worked well there. Ferrell especially.
The plot got sort of confusing for a movie that's been targeted to kids with constant "is he good? is he bad?" flip-flopping. Also the device of a watch where people can switch to other bodies got distracting when overused (think Mystique in the X-Men movies).
Again, I walk out of a 3-D movie thinking I would have enjoyed it just as much on a regular screen.
I was hoping someone would start a thread as I went to the movie over the weekend but didn't 'see' much of it. Our two-year-old is potty training and she lugged me to the restroom a whopping nine times throughout. But of what I did see, I liked (I saw it in 2D).
I liked the voice casting too. I figured them all out except for Tina Fey. Just didn't dawn on me until the credits. Hoping to rent it when it comes out on video to fill in the blanks.

The trailer gave away like 10 minutes of the movie, but so much happened after those ten minutes. The story took on several permutations I thought were clever and surprising.
Megamind was pretty great for me. It was the best Superman movie about Lex Luthor ever made. This would be Lex Luthor's favorite movie if he were real.
And now we officially get the main cast, as it's a great Dr. Venture episode. Henry Killinger was one of my favorite additions to the cast last season and his twisted Kissinger/Mary Poppins persona paired with Orpheus's rambling was just awesome.
