Well, you had to know that poor Grampa Simpson had a life's savings worth $250.
Had a few laughs from some reliable gags like Homer sucking up the cat with the Rug Dentist, Chief Wiggum's "too bad we only saw that in regular motion" line, and Homer's mannequin disguise.
But how many times can they play the "Nelson is poor" card? I feel like they've overplayed it these last few seasons. Although I can always appreciate the continued interaction between Nelson and Lisa and the ending with Mark Zuckerberg made up for the iffy plotline.
Thumbs up for the ending, but not much else. The premier with Flight of the Conchords spoiled me terribly.
"Playing guitars. It's hard to sing while playing...guitars."
The Itchy and Scratchy parody of Upcrossed the line about twelve times. Shooting and killing the senior citizen cats, burying them, sucking their souls with a vacuum cleaner and then taking the bag out of the vacuum and setting it on fire. Wow. Like many Itchy and Scratchy shorts, I was cracking up and gasping with horror at the same time.

I don't want to be all Comic Book Guy, but wasn't Grandpa's inheritance a big box of mint-condition 1918 liberty-head silver dollars?
I think it's great that they finally got Mark Zuckerberg on the record, but actually I got more from guest star Muhammad Yunus (who sounded like he'd recorded his lines over Skype) - alas, the website went nowhere (or I spelled it wrong?)
EDITS 1 & 2: Hey neat - Yeardley Smith is a big fan of microfinance (huffingtonpost.com) Strange that she'd talk about $27 but not $1.14 million (grameenfoundation.org)

Yes. And since the family already spent those he'd since been able to amass a nest egg of $250.
Wiggum blowing Lou's cover did it for me.

That would be a great move on NBCs part and it would be the only way to get me to switch off from CSI. What other show would you put with them though? Joey at 8 pm and hope that you can land some viewers that would follow Earl to Thursday?
