Wow, it's here already? It's sad to me in a way, because for about 3-4 years HITC was maybe my favorite match. The epitome of a blow off match. Now, in the watered down, bloodless PG era, it just seems...well, watered down and bloodless. Frankly, I am surprised they will include the word "Hell" in a PPV title.

That being said:
Taker
Orton
Barrett
Bryan
Michelle, if it happens

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

As far as the undercard matches are concerned, both Bryan and Michelle will keep their titles; Bryan because it'd be stupid to cut the legs off him after just two weeks, and Michelle because while she could stand to lose the title, the Hart Dynasty is in turmoil and Michelle is the spouse of a certain top-tier performer who SHOULD be in a jobbing situation himself. *a-HEM*

Kane vs. Undertaker - Forget Paul Bearer for a second. When has Kane ever gotten the upper hand in the end on UT? That's right; in thirteen years, the answer is NEVER. The only valid reason to do this feud again is for Kane to come out on top, and if UT goes over here, even temporarily, that may be all for naught. If I end up being wrong, so be it, but I'd rather go down picking what's right rather than what's right. Winner: Kane when Paul turns heel on UT in revenge for burying him in cement years ago.

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus - It would seem quite pointless to me for them to put the belt on Orton two weeks ago if Sheamus was going to regain it here. I just hope the early rumors about the WM main event aren't true, because it would end up completely short-circuiting the best stores on BOTH shows right now. In RAW's case, that's not Nexus, but the little dose of AWESOME we'll be treated to after this is over. Winner: Randall Q. Dumbfuck; Miz cashes in afterwards to steal the title from him.

John Cena vs. Wade Barrett - With down finishes in both title matches, I'll pick the result that I've come to expect from WWE. Yes, they're trying to add intrigue with the Survivor Series poster, but until they show they're serious about doing something different with their cash cow, I'm content to ride with Superman. Winner: John Cena, clean in the middle.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

John Cena vs Wade Barrett

The referee calls for the bell, the competitors tie up and the referee immediately calls for the bell and declares Cena the winner, stating that Nexus was not allowed to interfere in the match and since Wade Barrett is a member of Nexus, his very participation results in a disqualification and the disbanding of Nexus. Cena goes on to declare himself the greatest force in the history of the WWE and that he single-handedly destroyed the Nexus, something the entire WWE combined was unable to do.

Cena declares that absolutely nobody can stop him. This leads to the return of HHH, whom Cena jumps in the aisle and makes tap out before he even makes it to the ring. Cena then jumps the Undertaker backstage before he has a chance to issue a challenge. He then jumps The Rock and Stone Cold on movie sets, before showing up in TNA which nobody realizes that Vince has secretly purchased. Cena proceeds to beat the entire TNA roster in the largest handicap match in history before throwing all of the TNA titles into a trashcan and pissing on them.

Cena then gets attacked and beaten down by Genesis and the whole cycle starts over.

Alternatively, Barrett wins so that Cena has to wear a Nexus shirt, thus increasing sales dramatically.

Kane vs The Undertaker

The Undertaker wins because this goes to a third and deciding match, either an Inferno match or a Buried Alive match, most likely. At one point, Paul Bearer opens the urn, revealing the ghost of the Big Boss Man who proceeds to summon spirit dogs, thus converting the match into a Kennel in the Cell. The spirit dogs take spirit shits all over the ring but everyone no sells it.

Randy Orton vs Sheamus

Orton wins because he's an asshole. Sheamus does the greatest oversell in the history of the RKO, bouncing so high that he actually hits the top of the cell. Highlight of the night is the pattern of the cage left on Sheamus's skin.

Daniel Bryan vs The Miz vs John Morrison

Instead of the requisite two-guys-put-submission-holds-on-the-other-guy, we get the opposite when Daniel Bryan slaps the Labell Lock on The Miz while simultaneously placing Morrison in a triangle choke. Alex Riley throws in the towel but later claims it was on behalf of Morrison, not Miz.

Michelle McCool vs Natalya
Michelle is knocked legitimately unconscious when Natty goes for a Thesz Press and concusses McCool with her massive heart. Natalya pins McCool and seems to win the women's title but it is later reversed by Vickie who claims that you have to pin both Michelle and Layla to win the title. Layla picks up a flash pin on Natalya thanks to McCool interference.

Alberto del Rio vs Rey Mysterio

Alberto del Rio picks up the victory thanks to interference from Ricardo Rodriguez. The spirit of the Big Boss Man appears again, stealing del Rio's chihuahua and later feeding it to him.

So, in HitC history Bossman vs Taker is still the lowbar for these matches right? I don't see any of these tanking that badly, but all three could fit right in with Helmsley/Diesal as just a match in a big cage.

I'm not excited about where the Nexus story has taken us. I'd say disband it now, but with nothing else really going on I can see them trying to breath new life into this angle.

Unless you count Bossman vs Al Snow. At least the Bossman/Taker HitC had a big ending, even if it was pretty lame all=in-all. Did I miss them announcing a third HitC match?

Morrison via submission over Miz, as Miz decides that is an easy way to screw Bryan out of the belt.
Orton because you ride the hot hand.
Undertaker, as I can't see Taker staring up at the lights twice in 3 weeks.
Cena dominates Barrett, goes for the win, when Shaska Truth interferes and costs Cena the win. Barrett with the victory, Shaska Truth gets a nice hat and Cena becomes the low man on the Nexus totem pole for a few weeks.

Orton because he gets the "First PPV Win to Secure You Are FOR REAL!"

Taker, probably by count-out or DQ or something so the feud continues for a rubber match without giving away a Taker victory yet.

Barrett because Cena needs something different.

Morrison because I like other people's idea that The Miz will lose on purpose to screw over Daniel Bryan.

Natalya, thanks to help from Hornswaggle? Idk... My head says they'll stick with McCool because they seem to love everything she does, but they also seem to make really stupid decisions.

and as always, Ziggles (assuming he gets in a match).

Are you forgetting that this is a Hell in the Cell match or did the WWE secretly rehire Vince Russo?

Well got me there. I haven't really watched Smackdown in a while. :) I still say something screwy will happen in this match. Paul Bearer will turn on Taker and beat him senseless with the Urn, Kane will break down the door like he did when he debuted, something.

I just can't see them giving them a definitive ending to this feud so early into it.

Kane via Paul Bearer turn.

Sheamus followed by HHH beatdown.

Barrett via New Nexus member interference (Young or NXT2)

Bryan via Lebel Lock followed by Morrison turn.

Michelle just cuz.

Following HHH beatdown - Miz cashes in and beats Sheamus.

Cena over Barrett
Taker over Kane
Orton over Sheamus

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus: Orton wins.

Kane vs. The Undertaker: Undertaker wins by something evil (read: SFX) from Paul Bearer and Da Urn.

John Cena vs. Wade BarretBarrett wins, and I get the heel Cena that I've been begging for since forever.

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison: Morrison wins it, and we see glimpses of a possible reuniting for Miz/Morrison. That team rocked.

Michelle McCool vs. Natalya: Natalya wins.

Just noticed...it's a very slim card, there has to be another match thrown in at one point, right?

I think they could give the Undertaker a clean win without it being the blow off to the feud. It could be a fluke roll up win or after a decisive victory Kane could grab the urn and beat 'Taker down with it, continuing the feud into the next PPV.

That's true too. I guess in my mind, HiTC still means the be-all, end-all of grudge matches. I just haven't adjusted to the fact that this is just another gimmick match now.
