TONIGHT! The Undertaker has lost his superpowers! CM Punk has lost his Straight Edge Society! Both of these men are at a crossroads and both of them will meet in the ring tonight. Also, will we get more on the developing Alberto Del Rio/Christian feud? SmackDown is NOW!

WWE – The Champ Is Here!

We get a recap of last week’s main event soliloquy from Kane. The gist is that the Brothers of Destruction collide at Night of Champions for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Opening credits – Let It Roll! Opening pyro! We are taped from Baltimore, MD! And we get first hype for tonight’s main event of Undertaker facing off against CM Punk.

Opening GONG? Lights go out in the arena and come back up in short order. When they do, The Undertaker is in the ring in his wrestling gear. He’s got a mic, so I guess it’s promo time! “My brother, Kane, has always been a disturbed freak of nature. It was so many times that I had to protect, not just from others, but from himself. So I will have no regrets doing what I must do at the Night of Champions. Kane attacked me like a coward, his own flesh and blood. He left me beaten, battered, and unconscious. And in doing so, he’s kinda given himself a false sense of confidence. He thinks that he has the tide of momentum on his side. He thinks he has the power of the darkness. Well, let’s make no mistake about it, that power is mine…and I’m still in control here. At Night of Champions, I’m gonna give Kane some memories…they won’t be pleasant ones. He will always remember the night that his older, wiser brother stopped his reign of terror. He will always remember…his more evil, dominant brother took back his World Heavyweight Championship. Now that brings me to why I’m here. Now, little brother, I’m gonna address you now. When the time comes that we finally come face-to-face, I know that we will open the gates of Hell and unleash everything that we have on one another. And I can’t wait. I can’t wait for that night, Kane. But a fight, a fight of that magnitude…there are no rules that can contain us. There are no rules that will be able to stop us. So Kane…when we fight, and it will be a fight, at Night of Champions, it must be…NO…HOLDS…BARRED! What do you say, little brother? Are you in? Are you confident? Let’s find out.”

Interruption comes from CM Punk, coming out solo, giving UT a round of faux applause. “Now everybody in attendance stand up! Give the legendary Dead Man the respect and adulation he deserves and he deserves nothing less than a standing ovation. If you’ve ever considered yourself a creature of the night, if you’re a fan of the Phenom, ladies and gentleman, bask in his glory right now. You can do a whole lot better than that, come on! Let me hear it!” Pause for crowd pop. “Dead Man, this is your moment and you’ve earned it. You see, I know and you know that after Night of Champions, none of these people will ever see The Undertaker ever again. I enjoy a good sibling rivalry and I know, probably like all these people here today, I’ve been enjoying watching this saga of the Brothers of Destruction unfold, but I gotta tell you, ‘Take, nothing brings a smile to my face like watching you on your own personal downward spiral. I look at you now and, you know me, I’ve gotta be honest, I don’t see anything phenomenal whatsoever. What I see is a beat-up, broken-down man, who’s had one too many fights. I see a man who, for the first time, has bitten off more he can chew, someone who’s way more delusional than all these selfish, drunken worthless people here in the audience. What I see when I look at you…”

UT: “What I see when I look at you, Punk, is my next victim.”

Punk: “Nonononono, I don’t think so, Undertaker. Chilling threats like the ones you just made, they just don’t have the same panache they used to, do they? No. Because the first time, for the first time, there’s doubt in your voice. And when I beat you tonight, I’ll be sending a message to the WWE Universe, I’ll be sending a message to my opponent at Night of Champions, The Big Show, and I’ll be sending a message to you, Dead Man. And that message is simple. The power of this WWE Universe, the power of a 7-foot, 500-lb. giant, and the power of the dark side simply cannot compare to the power of Straight Edge.”

UT: “I’ll tell you what, Punk. Why don’t you come down and try…but the results will be the same as always. You will fail.”

Punk: “Failure is what you call it, huh? I seem to remember when you were 100%, making you tap out. I’m the most dangerous man on SmackDown, what do you think I’m gonna do to you in your weakened condition?”

UT: “I know exactly what you’re gonna do, Punk. You are gonna REST…IN…PEACE!”

Undertaker’s music plays as Punk mouths off from the ramp. These two men meet in tonight’s main event!

Ad break – “Legendary” really doesn’t look any better than it did a few weeks ago.

”THE ALL-AMERICAN AMERICAN” JACK SWAGGER v. MVP
We get a recap of Jack Swagger hosting the VIP Lounge last week and of MVP’s subsequent interruption. We also get to see MVP wipe out an elderly man in a wheelchair for no good reason. Why yes, he IS the face, why do you ask?

We start with a wrestling sequence, which Swagger wins rather easily. Swagger goes to work with clubbing blows and shoves MVP into the corner. Whip into the corner, but MVP leapfrogs over the corner charge. MVP then hits a big clothesline and hammers away. Vertical suplex and MVP floats over into mounted punches. Running boot to the head sends Swagger to the outside. MVP gives chase and rolls Swagger back in. Swagger tries to get MVP coming back in with a clothesline, but MVP counters with Rolling Germans, just like Chris Benoit Some Guy That Never Existed used to do. Swagger elbows out of the third German suplex and comes off the ropes, but falls into a drop toe hold. MVP comes off the ropes and hits a fallen Swagger with a running knee to the back of the head. That gets two. MVP measures his opponent from the opposite corner and charges in, but gets a big clothesline from Swagger. Swagger whips MVP into the corner and hits a pair of corner clotheslines. He’ll cover for a quick near-fall. Swagger locks in the double armbar to send us to our next break. Hey, a commercial break DURING a resthold! They’re getting better at this!

We come back with Swagger eating an elbow off an attempted corner charge. MVP hammers away, but walks right into a big boot. Swagger tries to follow up with the running Vaderbomb, but that moves hits knees. Swagger charges in again, but gets a belly-to-belly throw. As Swagger gathers himself in the corner, he turns around and gets a running boot to the face. That gets 2 for MVP. MVP starts boxing Jack’s ears in before sending him off the ropes for a pancake. A pair of clotheslines and a facebuster will lead to the Ballin’ Elbow. MVP measures Swagger for the Play of the Day, but Swagger rolls out. MVP rolls out and tries to move, but Swagger hits a seated dropkick on the steel steps, which send them smashing into MVP’s knee! NICE! MVP tries to roll in, but Swagger grabs him by the leg and swings his ankle into the steel post. MVP tries to crawl away, but Swagger swoops in and hits the anklelock! And that’ll do it for MVP, who taps out at about 8 minutes, 30 seconds shown.

WINNER: Jack Swagger - Another fine match between these two. This looks like a blowoff, but I wouldn’t mind seeing them go one more time.

Backstage, LayCool scheme against Melina, as Kaval stands in the background. They argue amongst themselves and Kaval asks for peace, considering it’s his first night. Kaval’s actually pretty funny here. LayCool turn the tables on him and actually do a funny Kaval impression themselves. Kaval walks away, as LayCool continue arguing.

Coming up next…a history of Undertaker and Kane? Are you ready for some REVISIONIST HISTORY?

Ad break – Night of Champions Raw main event hype!

I’ll keep the history segment brief.

THINGS COVERED:
-Paul Bearer reveals Kane is alive.
-Kane debuts. Man, Kane’s tombstones were U-G-L-Y when he first started.
-Kane’s subsequent path of destruction, including tossing out a pre-repackaged Hardy Boyz!
-Kane lights Undertaker’s casket on fire (with Undertaker in it) at the 1998 Royal Rumble.
-Kane unmasks himself, complete with Larry look-alike hairdo.
-Kane chokeslams Eric Bischoff off the Raw ramp. I’m sure someone REALLY needed to twist Vince’s arm to show THAT footage again.
-The Brothers of Destruction run.
-The last few months.

THINGS NOT COVERED:
-Kane sets fire to the caskets containing his parents.
-Paul Bearer admits he’s Kane’s real father.
-Undertaker admits a few years later that he purposely set fire to the house that killed their parents.
-Kane unmasked because of Triple H, NOT because of The Undertaker.

All in all, a half-assed retelling of their old history. But considering how convoluted their history was to begin with, no one can really blame them. God knows if they went into EVERY detail between these two, they’d need more than a two-hour show.

Later tonight, The Undertaker returns to action against CM Punk. Backstage, Matt Hardy walks to the ring. He meets Alberto Del Rio NEXT!

Ad break – Raw Roulette ad. Has there ever been a Raw Roulette show that hasn’t sucked a huge meat missile?

Tony Chimel introduces us to our good friend, Ricardo Rodriguez. He, of course, welcomes in Alberto Del Rio in his Rolls Royce. Wait, no, it’s a Bentley this week. Rodriguez tweaks his intro this week to mention Del Rio as the guy that took out “ese Chihuahua, Rey Mysterio”. Somehow, I sense he’ll be eating a 619 sometime in the next few months. Which makes this as good a time as any to ask the more in-the-know W’s if Rodriguez is a developmental talent himself? We get some footage of last week’s fiesta that was interrupted by Christian, before we get the opponent’s entrance.

ALBERTO DEL RIO c. MATT HARDY
The sad thing to note, before this match starts, is that for as badly as Matt’s deteriorated in the ring, he’s still getting HUGE pops from the crowd, which means I don’t think he’ll be going away to get himself back into shape anytime soon. Matt’s still selling the ankle that Drew McIntyre took out a few weeks ago.

We start with a lockup that sends both guys into the corner. Ref separates both men, allowing Alberto to swoop in and get a big kick to Matt’s left leg. Snapmare and kick to the back follow. Corner whip is reversed and Matt gets a corner clothesline/bulldog combo for 2. Irish whip is reversed, but Matt grabs the ropes to stop his momentum. Alberto tries to move in, but ends up jumping through the ropes and falling to the outside. Matt looks like he’s measuring Del Rio for a pescado, but that would require Matt to be able to elevate his own weight, so he simply settles for a kick through the ropes. Matt slams ADR’s head onto the apron and rolls him back in. Matt walks onto the apron, but ADR runs up and hits a BEAUTIFUL running enziguiri! Something to note is that Del Rio HAS to have those boots mic’d up, the way Tajiri used to, because those kicks are LOUD! With Matt flat on his back, we go to our next break.

We come back with Alberto hitting the chinlock. Matt fights out of it, but gets tossed down to the mat by the hair. ADR chokes Matt in the ropes before whipping him off the ropes for a spinebuster. We go back to the chinlock. Matt fights out of it and gets a sunset flip for 2. ADR quickly gets up and hits a kick to the side of the head for 2. Del Rio chokes Matt on the ropes some more. Scoop slam gets another near-fall and we go back to the chinlock a third time. Matt fights back up again. ADR tries to grab the hair to stop the flurry, but Matt keeps fighting. Del Rio puts him back down with some kicks, as Matt Striker makes a random Namor reference for some reason. ADR comes off the ropes, but runs into a clothesline. Matt gets another one and hits the Side Effect for 2. Both guys are up and Matt responds first with a corner clothesline. He goes for the clothesline/bulldog combo again, but Del Rio shoves him into the corner…sort of. Matt just kinda walks for a few steps and turns around into a kick from ADR. Alberto goes for a bodyslam, but it’s countered into Big Show’s old Final Cut move. That gets 2. Matt hits a front slam and goes up to the top rope. He hits a top-rope moonsault (barely connecting) for 2. Matt picks up ADR and whips him to the corner. ADR leapfrogs over a corner charge, but Matt gets him set up for the Twist of Fate. Twist of Fate attempted is countered when ADR shoves Matt into the corner. Del Rio tries to scale the turnbuckles, but Matt catches him on the way up. Second-rope suplex is blocked and ADR jumps to the outside, guillotining Matt’s arm across the ropes! Matt’s clutching his arm, as ADR runs back in and shoves Matt’s shoulder into the corner post with an audible THUNK! Alberto grins to the crowd before grabbing the underhook into the Swinging Jujigatime! Matt Hardy will not die, but he’ll certainly tap out at 11 minutes, 30 seconds shown.

WINNER: Alberto Del Rio - A decent match, but ADR continues to show good stuff. I still love Matt Hardy, but even I can’t deny that watching him a couple of times during this match was just brutal.

Post-match, Del Rio continues his attack, but here comes Christian to make the save. ADR retreats for higher ground, but not before he winks at Christian from the ramp and vows that he’ll pay. Again, ADR addresses Christian as “American”, which is just…incorrect.

Your hosts are Todd Grisham and Matt Striker and they pimp “Legendary”, showing the feature preview. And…let’s FFWD through this!

Ad break.

Later tonight, The Undertaker faces CM Punk.

DREW McINTYRE v. KAVAL
Hey, I get to recap a Kaval match without hearing a little troll named Michael Cole rant and rave about the evils of the Internets! Have I mentioned how much I love this show? Having said that, if THIS is Kaval’s first match, I can’t say I like his chances here.

We start with the lock-up, as Striker tries to be cute again referring to Kaval’s “low key” demeanor. McIntyre overpowers Kaval into the corner. Once the ref separates the two, Kaval gets a BIG kick to McIntyre’s thigh, which he sells like a champ. But once again, McIntyre asserts the power advantage and carries Kaval back into the corner. Striker then reads a note handed to him, in which Kaval requested to prove himself on his own, which explains LayCool’s absence from ringside. McIntyre whips Kaval into the corner and catches the leapfrog attempt, but Kaval hits a mule kick. Kaval dashes towards the stunned Drew and gets a running wheelbarrow kick to the face for 2. McIntyre tries to suplex Kaval out of the ring, but he lands on his feet on the apron and hits an open-palmed slap. Kaval goes for a springboard, but Drew uses his logical offense and simply shoves Kaval to send him crashing to the outside. Drew pursues Kaval to the outside and suplexes him onto the apron! He rolls him back in and goes for the nonchalant cover for 2. Drew moves onto mounted punches and hits the armbar. Kaval tries to stomp McIntyre’s foot and elbow out of the hold, but Drew uses a knee to put him down. McIntyre goes for a vertical suplex, but Kaval bites him before he can complete the move. Kaval hits a spinning kick to the gut and an overhead kick to the back of the head. Kaval charges in and McIntyre lifts him over his head, but Kaval lands on the top turnbuckle and turns around to hit a Feliner, which would certainly make Ernest Miller proud. That only gets 2, though. Kaval goes up top for the Warrior’s Way, but Drew rolls to the outside. Kaval decides to meet Drew with a knee to the chin. He goes for a seated senton, but Drew simply catches him and chucks him onto the barricade. McIntyre rolls Kaval back in and hits the Future Shock to end the former NXT Rookie’s night at 4 minutes.

WINNER: Drew McIntyre - That was a much better match than I expected. McIntyre sold the hell out of Kaval’s offense and Kaval hit some really cool moves. Still, I can’t help but feel like I don’t see much difference between 2010 Kaval and the old 1996 Low Ki that I used to watch at 1am on Shotgun Saturday Night. I can’t see why it took 14 years for this guy to make the main roster.

Post-match, LayCool take Kaval’s corpse and try to carry him off…without getting any of his sweat on them, of course.

Ad break.

It’s time for even more Grooming Tips with “Dashing” Cody Rhodes. And apparently, we’re going into reruns already, because it’s the blackheads tip that aired on July 30.

Now it’s time…for me to hit the Mute button, because someone gave a microphone to Vickie Guerrero. Along with her NXT Rookie, she introduces Dolph Ziggler and Chavo Guerrero, as we look at the last few weeks of fun with Kofi Kingston. Announcers mention that Teddy Long has booked Dolph Ziggler/Kofi Kingston for Night of Champions, where Dolph loses the title if he’s DQ’ed or counted out.

Sigh…quick rant. We’ve seen a Dolph Ziggler/Kofi Kingston match how many times now? There was the first non-title match, the second non-title match, the title match where Dolph won the belt, the Summerslam rematch with the Nexus finish, the rematch with the Vickie Guerrero DQ, and the rematch with the countout finish. That’s SIX TIMES in the last two months that these two guys have faced each other with a seventh match booked for the PPV. If these matches were entertaining, it’d be one thing, but each of these matches have had a worse finish than the last one. ENOUGH ALREADY! PLEASE blow this feud off at the PPV and don’t book these two one-on-one for at least a year, because it’s gotten REALLY old! Ok, rant finished.

DOLPH ZIGGLER & CHAVO GUERRERO (w/VICKIE GUERRERO & KAITLYN) v. KOFI KINGSTON & “THE MASTERPIECE” CHRIS MASTERS
Hasn’t Masters been future endeavored yet? Wasn’t the whole point of NXT to find the next generation of jobbers?

I’m guessing either Kofi’s gotten over his anger or he’s not as angry at Dolph like we thought, because the match starts with Masters and Dolph. Dolph tries to start with a wrestling sequence, but Masters can’t wrestle, so he simply throws Dolph aside. He hits a clothesline and a military press slam for 2. Dolph hits a knee and tags in Chavo, who nearly walks into a Masterlock. Chavo gets to the ropes and Dolph distracts Masters, which allows Chavo to clip his knee, as Grisham pisses me off by noting Chavo is known to “lie, cheat, and steal”, which is like equating Alec Baldwin to Billy Baldwin. He’s not Eddie and isn’t anywhere close to Eddie’s league, you dope! Chavo stomps away and tags to Dolph, who hits an elbow and continues stomping away. Dolph tries to keep Masters from tagging out, but Masters simply pushes him away with his legs and tags out to Kofi. Kofi comes in with a HIGH springboard clothesline, followed by some punches, and a HIGH dropkick. Some corner punches follow — this week, we get 9. Kofi tries to wind up for a tenth, but Dolph gives him a big boot to the face. Both guys clothesline each other down and we’ve got a double KO. Masters walks in and distracts the ref as Dolph tags Chavo. Chavo comes in, but the ref removes him, having not seen the tag. Umm…I think someone got their role confused here. Dolph complains to the ref, but turns around and eats Trouble In Paradise and that’ll be enough to get the win for Kofi and Masters.

WINNERS: Kofi Kingston and Chris Masters - Quick and painless, but I’m just SO tired of watching Kofi and Dolph fight each other at this point.

Later tonight, The Undertaker faces CM Punk in his big return match.

Ad break – ANOTHER “Legendary” promo.

Todd Grisham shills “Legendary” before we get the Night of Champions card rundown.

Backstage, we go to Josh Matthews looking much scruffier than he did a few days ago on NXT. Oh wait, it’s just Big Show pretending to be Josh Matthews. Big Show interviews Big Show. Show takes credit for single-handedly dismantling the S.E.S., including Joey Mercury, Luke Gallows, and “that other bald-headed dude they had in their organization”. Oh, that’s low, WWE. Show continues his Matthews impression. “You and Michael Cole are my favorite guys!” Kelly Kelly walks into the scene and pokes fun at Show for being a huge nerd. Agreed. The real Josh Matthews walks into the scene having misplaced his microphone. After some prodding from Kelly, Show relents and takes the mic out from under his armpit and hands it back to Matthews. Show and Kelly share a good laugh as we go to break.

Ad break – Raw season premiere hype. Randy Orton faces John Cena. I hope they’re ready for that one, because there’s no way Cena doesn’t get booed out of the building with how much of a following Orton’s had these days.

Looks like the death of the Straight Edge Society has been greatly exaggerated, as CM Punk comes out with Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury…for a moment. Punk quickly berates them both and banishes them to the back.

CM PUNK v. THE UNDERTAKER
We get some stalling to start, as Punk dodges UT. Punk gives UT a quick kick and backs off. He moves in for a couple of more kicks before UT nearly knocks his block off with a right hand. UT bonks Punk’s head on the turnbuckle and hammers away in the corner. He goes to work on Punk’s arm, warming up for the Old School ropewalk. UT gets a hammerlock and shoves Punk into the corner. UT goes for the Old School ropewalk, but CROTCHES HIMSELF! The plot THICKENS! Punk takes advantage with a running dropkick that sends UT to the outside. That’ll take us to our final break of the night.

We come back with Punk working over UT’s arm. We hit the leg scissors, as Punk amplifies it with some elbows. UT rolls to the outside, but Punk keeps up the onslaught, tackling him into the barricade and choking away. Punk breaks the count, but that allows UT to come back with some punches. Apron legdrop hits, but looks like it took more out of UT than Punk. Punk’s backed himself into the corner, but manages to move before UT can hit a running boot. Enziguiri hits, but only gets 2. We hit the armbar, followed by the chinlock. UT muscles himself back up and hits a back suplex. Running elbow misses, though. UT pulls himself up into the corner, but Punk hits the running knee/bulldog combo for 2. Both guys hammer at each other, but UT wins that exchange. UT hits some headbutts in the corner. He whips Punk into the corner and hits Snake Eyes. UT goes off the ropes looking for the big boot, but Punk beats him to the punch with a flying kick to the face. Punk tries to follow with a springboard clothesline, but flies right into a GOOZLE! Chokeslam! That only gets 2, though. He looks for the Tombstone, but Punk counters into the GTS! Punk’s slow to cover, but when he does crawl over, UT pulls him into the Hell’s Gate! Punk quickly taps out at about 15 minutes shown!

WINNER: The Undertaker - A good match, occasionally overwhelmed by the storyline. I’ll give UT this, though, he’s managed to sell the angle brilliantly with his facials throughout the match.

Post-match, UT hits his center-of-the-ring pose, but it’s met with Kane’s pyro! Kane’s music hits and the arena is filled with Kane’s maniacal laughter. Show ends with Kane’s laughter echoing throughout the arena.

FINAL THOUGHT

A good show tonight. Didn’t feel like there were a lot of matches tonight, but the matches we did get all seemed to get a good amount of time and they were all fairly entertaining. The go-home show next week should be worth watching.

I'm always amazed at just how bad Matt Hardy looks these days. He's hit his Tito Sanatana El Matador faze of his career while looking a lot like Raven of three years ago. He's getting my vote for most deteriorated, although he does have a good role with the company right now.

Matt Hardy bashing! I gotta get in on this. Wasn't it back in March or April when Matt put up that drunken video of him in a hot tub on YouTube and cut another of his "THIS YEAR is the YEAR OF MATT HARDY! I'm gonna get back in shape, win a World Title, win the Lottery, make the trains run on time, actually slap a tornado and dry up the sea, blah blah blah." And now we are over 9 months into 2010 and still waiting for Matt to at least get back in shape if not accomplish everything else he'll never accomplish in WWE but Jeff has.

@MattHardyBRAND sez: "The last year I've dealt with overwhelming, out of my control physical issues, but kept on keepin on. Glad some guys had fun at my expense." (as part of a long series of tweets about the dreaded IWC) and earlier in the week he tweeted "Definitely gonna do a YT entry soon about my recent health breakthroughs concerning my digestive process-In 3 weeks, I've dropped 13 lbs :)" and "My doctor finally concluded that I COULD NOT eat red meat-period."

I still really like Matt, but I wish he'd just taken time off to get himself healthy when his scary intestinal issues happened, rather than working through it all.

I also really like when CM Punk gets to boast about how he isn't afraid of the Taker (or "Take," as he called him once in that opening promo).

LayCool + Kaval = comedy, and I enjoyed his multitude of kicks as well.

I'm reading this instead of watching the episode. I haven't really enjoyed enough of the show lately, but I'm going to give it another shot once NOC is over and whatever new quo has been statused.

Which makes this as good a time as any to ask the more in-the-know W’s if Rodriguez is a developmental talent himself?

I don't know if he made it to developmental before starting this gig, but he was a masked luchador who wrestled in Phoenix and Mexico.

It's amazing the difference between Raw and Smackdown. On Raw, the Swagger vs. MVP feud consisted of them wrestling for less than two minutes, and it was lucky to see them on even a weekly basis on account of celebrity guest host time-wasting. Here, they've actually had the opportunity to DO things.

Kelly showed more personality, with limited lines, in that promo with Show than she has in her entire career combined. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I haven't loathed her since her first few weeks in ECW where she wasn't allowed to either talk or wrestle.

Kaval also displayed a hint of personality in his promo with LayCool, as well. I have to assume that LayCool are going to lose the unification match and then will fight over who gets to keep Kaval, forcing him to bend over so that they can look at their reflections in his bald head.

No Hornswoggle this week so I presume he was lent to Raw in preparation for a Capture The Midget match on Monday. If so, I hope they let Jim Ross make a guest appearance, seeing as how he's undefeated in Capture The Midget matches.

Great ending sequence to the main event, I thought Punk was going over but wasn't disappointed when he didn't. It doesn't get much better than that.

I'm astonished that they've actually managed to find a story still worth telling with UT and Kane. This feud is clicking, big-time. Hopefully the no-holds-barred stip will raise the match quality a wee bit.

I thought it was weird that Kaval was savagely beaten by six men and Lucky Cannon in an attack so brutal that it left Laycool in tears, and then a week later he was just all "yay, Smackdown." I figured that the NXT angle was so awful that they decided to leave not-well enough alone and just pretend it never happened. The Observer said that they still want to do something with Riley, Harris, and McGillicutty so maybe they'll just re-do the angle on Smackdown but this time actually tell people what to do ahead of time.

I keep seeing things about him being on thin ice with the company. I don't get the good inside stuff, but he is really only being held onto so he doesn't team up with Jeff in TNA or does the WWE even care about that?

I would say yes, but then I'd probably get Charlie Haas'd.

Seriously though, the more he crazies, the less WWE is concerned about hanging on to him.
