Am I the only one who misses Shane McMahon? I mean, I didn't at first, I didn't really care at all, but at this point, I'm really longing for the sounds of "Here Comes The Money" The sad part is I can't even think of a reason for him to come back or what he would even do, I just want it to happen. Oh well, maybe I'm just dumb, anyone else agree with me here?

Shane and Vince are always welcome on TV as long as they aren't doing stupuid stuff like fondeling women. Shane is funny, bumped like crazy for the wrestlers, and is a good talker. Plus "Here comes the money" was a great theme song. I hope he is the only McMahon we ever see join Vince back on television.

You know, Linda is welcome too, even though I've seen gargoyles with more charisma. Stephanie, I can do without.

It would be pretty cool if Shane McMahon did come back. He had some pretty decent cruiserweight spots in his moveset(well lack of). He is the only member of the McMahon family that doesn't annoy the hell out of me.

Shane is far and away the most talented of the McMahons. I remember whenever he'd have a match on PPV, the Internet fans would always be "amazed" that whoever he was fighting managed to get a good match out of him - has anyone ever seen a *BAD* Shane McMahon match?

I mean, he's no Kurt Angle, but I'd almost go so far as to say he's the Chris Benoit of "sports entertainment" matches. The man had a classic against *TEST*, for christ's sake...

As long as Shane was in no way involved in an angle with his Dad or sister I would like to see Shane back. But another fight between Vince and Shane would suck.

The best thing about Shane is that once he's outstayed his welcome, he gets the hell off my TV. He doesn't linger like Steph. Right now, though, I'd love to see him back, as long as it's a good angle for him.

Wow, everyone's pretty much pro-Shane. Pretty surprising. Yeah, anyway, Shane is by far my favorite McMahon and I wouldn't mind seeing him back, preferably as a face. I'm not really sure how they'd bring him back (especially without having him feud with Vince in any way). I dunno, I'd kind of like to see him somehow gain control of Raw. Any ideas on how they could pull something like this off and have it make sense(well, as much sense as most wrestling angles do)?

There is nothing wrong with Shane McMahon being on television. The problem is that Shane is Vince's son, therefore Vince decides to push him to the moon. I mean, during the invsion, Shane McMahon was perceived as being more important that Booker T, and that is not right. Vince is the same. A good performer, but shoves himselves down the viewers throats, and his ego blinds him to the fact that the fans are sick of him.

Linda and Stephanie, however, are not welcome. Nothing wrong with Linda, personally. But she is about as charasmatic as Lance Storm with a hangover. And Stephanie may have heat, but not the kind someone should have. She doesn't have the entertaining, "I hate that person and can't wait to see her get what she deserves", kind of heat. She has the "Stephanie is on AGAIN??? I'll see if anything else is on" type heat. That's never good for business

Yeah, Lance Storm with a hangover would suck... but for some reason I get the feeling that were Lance Storm drunk, he'd be very entertaining. Probably would be dancing on tables and such.

I better shut up before I give Russo ideas.

Anyway... I'm also a fan of Shane O' Mac. He's entertaining, great on the mic and very good in the ring. Plus the spots he does are the kind of spots that some trained stuntmen would refuse to do.

I'll NEVER forget that belly-belly that was supposed throw Shane in the glass. The glass didn't break and Shane fell on his head on the CONCRETE. Just SICK.

I voted Shane McMahon most obnoxious over Stephanie last year. He doesn't have the writing power of his sister, but at any time he could have said "this isn't for the good of the company". Last year, he:

- Had a street fight with Vince during the midcard of Wrestlemania. That was fine, no harm done.

- Defeated The Big Show at Backlash, which is supposed to get him over as a force to be reckoned with? (Show I mean)

- Lost to Kurt Angle at King Of The Ring, and had the whole tournament booked around him. Edge comes off looking like a lame duck champ.

- In a match with Booker T against The Rock for the WCW World Heavyweight Title and DOESN'T GET PINNED??? What kind of logic is that???

- Had a terrible street fight on the main event of RAW. The writing is on the wall...

- Main events Survivor Series for the Alliance, when there are plenty of guys who really could have used that spot. He got killed in short order, but he knew he had to or he'd be crucified online.

Just seeing Shane irritates me to no end. I don't know how many times he's fought The Rock or feuded with him - and we get the famous chase around the ring.

I don't want to see Shane back. I don't want to see any McMahons anymore. The owner thing is done. Stay in the back - off my TV - and I'll be a happy camper.

Yeah, those are all terrible offenses, but none of them are worse than Stephanie. Shane overshadowing the King of the Ring, being pushed above Booker T, and being involved in(what should have been) the most important main event in pro wrestling history are terrible crimes, and should not go overlooked.

But hey, at least he only main evented the Survivor Series. Stephanie booked herself to be in the main event of WrestleMania. Wrestle freakin' Mania!!! In front of 68,000 fans in a huge dome, non-the-less. She booked herself in the main event, in the biggest show of the year! Oh sure, she wasn't actually wrestling, and she wasn't billed to be the main-eventer. But if you watched any of those Raw or SmackDown shows leading up to the PPV, you probably wouldn't have even realized that Jericho was wrestling. It was Triple H v. Stephanie. That was the hype. Shane may have main evented a show here and there, but Stephanie main evented the biggest show of the year. So any of Shane's offenses mean very little compared to what Stephie did, there is no doubt about it.

Shane is, far and away, my favorite McMahon. Vince's egomania is out of control, Stephanie just annoys me, and Linda may be a good businessperson, but has no business being in front of a TV camera. People may bitch about Shane beating X-Pac for the European Title back in early 1999 and then retaining over X-Pac at Wrestlemania XV, or going over Big Show at Backlash 2001, or not doing the job in the handicap match against the Rock at Unforgiven 2001, or even being in the main event at Survivor Series 2001. In response, I offer the following:

1) Unlike Stephanie, who's had maybe one good match (vs. Trish Stratus at No Way Out 2001), and Vince, who doesn't wrestle so much as egofuck, when Shane gets into the ring, he's there to deliver something entertaining for the fans. Also, Shane's actually willing to lose a match.

2) Unlike J.R. and Vince, who talk about wanting to elevate mid-carders, Shane actually does something about it. Here's a guy who had a good match with Test at Summerslam 1999 to help Test get more over. Then he let Steve Blackman beat the living shit out of him to let Blackman regain the Hardcore Title at Summerslam 2000, while taking a dive off the Titantron and letting Blackman drop the elbow on him from the Titantron. Shane McMahon was trying to elevate Steve Fucking Blackman. Does J.R. or Vince even remember who the hell Steve Blackman is?? You could even make an argument that the beating Shane took from Kurt Angle at King of the Ring 2001 was another step toward Angle getting the monster push that he did that summer.

Get Vince off my TV. Keep Stephanie off my TV. Get Shane back on there, and let him entertain us, and maybe actually help someone else get over while doing that.

Shane is fine. He just has the one problem that all McMahons (except, god bless her, Linda) have: putting themselves in a match. I never, ever want to see non-wrestlers in a match, especially McMahon. Never. Every time they are in there, they are taking valuable time from some wrestler who could be, you know, wrestling. And when they even get any offense/hold their own against the wrestler, it takes the wrestler down a notch, because, man, they're not dominating this simple businessperson. Lame, lame.

So just because somebody is a "nonwrestler," they can't be tougher than the wrestler they are fighting against?

Anyway, I think Shane's name really hurts him. He's not a great wrestler, but he's OK, and with more time to train could be real good. But because his last name is "McMahon" everybody is just quick to disregard him as a "nonwrestler" like above. You see, you say the "nonwrestler" shouldn't get in any offense. A good match will explain why/how the "nonwrestler" in it gets his offense in and have it make sense.

But he *is* a nonwrestler because he only wrestles a couple times a year.

The wrestlers train every day, are on the road 4 days a week, and are constantly working, working, working. They can't afford to bust it all out EVERY SINGLE TIME they go out.

Shane can. And people seem to forget he can get away with having a good match every time out because he gets a couple months to rest up between contests.

If he was wrestling every single night, you'd be looking at Shane McMahon in a completely different light. No more good matches out of Test.

Let him become a full time wrestler. He's got the name - but I don't think he could handle the full time schedule since his offence consists of killing himself.

But then you get some sort of paradox here. Like I said in my last post, if he had the time to prepare for regular matches, he would be better. You wouldn't see him go out and kill himself. So it's have him wrestle every three months or so, only to have himself slaughtered each time, or wrestle regularly and wrestle a normal match. I prefer the former, and the latter would never happen because of his last name.

I am saying, I don't want to see a McMahon wrestling a match. They are at best owners and managers. I didn't want to see Heyman in their either. Does Shane pull out some spots? Sure. Does he bump? Yeah. Did I enjoy the match with Angle? Sure.

But it was Angle with an amateur, nothing more. Shane could have just as easily managed some wrestler to take his place in the match, and that was, we would have seen two professionals getting over a good match in the ring. Instead of some manager/owner getting over, which won't do as much.

It comes down to, I want to see wrestlers wrestle. Not other people. Preserves the mystique of the squared circle. Drew Carey was the perfect way to use a non-wrestler in the ring. Vince or Arquette as world champ is the other extreme, devaluing the whole spectacle.

Shane *is* the king of the run-in, I will add.
