I have no interest at all in this PPV and there are only two matches announced, so I thought it might be fun to predict Thursday's "Whole F'n Show" - "featuring only matches originally slated for pay-per-view" -- while we're here.

HARDCORE JUSTICE

Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn
I'm not even sure if this is for the title or not, but either way, RVD wins.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven
Dreamer, I guess, 'cuz it's "his" show. Foley's the Special Ref here.

Also appearing:
» Team 3D
» Rhino
» Stevie Richards
» Simon Diamond
» Al Snow
» Axl Rotten
» Johnny Swinger
» Sabu
» 2 Cold Scorpio
» Brother Runt
» CW Anderson
» The FBI
» The Sandman

No one there I'm anxious to ever see in the ring again.

----

THE WHOLE F'n SHOW

ROB VAN DAM vs. ABYSS (TNA WORLD TITLE MATCH)
Stairway to Janice match, Eric Bischoff is special ref.

I guess this depends on whether Bischoff is face or heel this week. I'll say Abyss wins, leading to Abyss vs. Hulk "I've stepped back" Hogan at BfG.

OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST KURT ANGLE vs. “THE PHENOMENAL” AJ STYLES
Angle has to win to keep the story going. It wouldn't surprise me to see him fall short of his goal, actually, but I don't think it'll happen here. (I'm just glad they're not running this Angle with Jeff Jarrett, which is where his "start at the bottom" storyline seemed to be heading.)

ANGELINA LOVE vs. MADISON RAYNE (TNA KNOCKOUTS TITLE MATCH)
Rayne gets screwed over by Velvet Sky and/or the Biker; Love wins.

“THE CHARISMATIC ENGIMA”(sic) JEFF HARDY’S OPEN CHALLENGE
I assume this was supposed to be against Samoa Joe before he got sent home. His challenge is open to "anyone in the wrestling world" -- I'll predict Jerry Lynn, and that Hardy wins.

“THE POPE” D’ANGELO DINERO vs. “THE BLUEPRINT” MATT MORGAN vs. MR. ANDERSON
Tough call between Pope and Anderson. I'll say Anderson gets distracted by Murphy and Gunnar, and Pope pins Morgan.

BEER MONEY vs. MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS (TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES MATCH)
This is reportedly two out of three falls and should be a MotY contender. Guns retain.

This show is kind of hard to predict.

RVD wins.

Tommy wins.

Sandman wins.

Sabu wins.

That's all. I'm out of ideas.

RVD beats Lynn

Raven beats Dreamer....y'see, I think Tommy booking the show actually makes him more likely to take the loss here to play off his approximate 1-449 career record against Raven in ECW.

* Abyss beats RVD on a Bischoff heel turn

* Angle over Styles via DQ or something, so Styles can keep the TV title

* Guns over Beer Money

* Love over Rayne

* Hardy over whomever answers his challenge, or the match ends in a schmozz

* Morgan over Pope and Anderson

Oops. Lynn injured, RVD/Lynn main event of TNA Hardcore Justice will not take place

Dreamer gets off on losing every match, right? It wouldn't be an "authentic" ECW show without it.

I'd heard Jeff Hardy's open challenge was supposed to be answered by a Former WWE Superstar. So I'll guess Mickie James.

Scuttlebutt says Hurricane Helms.

I didn't want the Lynn/RVD match to main event the show, but I didn't wish him harm. Tough break for Lynn.

HARDCORE JUSTICE

Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn
How long has it been since Lynn's even wrestled? This can't end well. Yeah, that'll happen when a guy hasn't wrestled in ages. RVD wins against...oh, let's say Brian Kendrick. Who cares, really?

Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven
Raven wins when Foley turns on Dreamer for no discernible reason..

----

THE WHOLE F'n SHOW

ROB VAN DAM vs. ABYSS (TNA WORLD TITLE MATCH)
Stairway to Janice match, Eric Bischoff is special ref.

I'm going with RVD to retain, only because I don't believe they'd put Hogan in a PPV main event. They're dumb, but even TNA can't be that stupid.

OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST KURT ANGLE vs. “THE PHENOMENAL” AJ STYLES
Angle wins in fluke fashion.

ANGELINA LOVE vs. MADISON RAYNE (TNA KNOCKOUTS TITLE MATCH)
Heel interference backfires. Angelina wins.

“THE CHARISMATIC ENGIMA”(sic) JEFF HARDY’S OPEN CHALLENGE
I feel like I've asked this before, but doesn't TNA employ copy editors? Hell, don't they have freakin' SPELL CHECK? Hardy wins against...oh, I dunno...let's say Brian Kendrick. Who cares, really?

“THE POPE” D’ANGELO DINERO vs. “THE BLUEPRINT” MATT MORGAN vs. MR. ANDERSON
Morgan wins via security shenanigans. Pope and Anderson go at it after the match.

BEER MONEY vs. MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS (TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES MATCH)
Beer Money win 2 out of 3 and take the third with the Greco-Roman Beer Bottle Blast.

Per OWW, the July 24, 2010 ROH tapings. He's an ROH regular, and even won the world title last year. He's not inactive by any means.

I will admit that this card ALMOST makes me want to go to my local Uno Chicago Grill that buys PPVs and puts them on their near 100" diagonal big screen and watch it through their front window that they never close the blinds on so I can avoid the cover.

Almost.

The last PPV I actually spent money on was Final Resolution 2006 (I think).

Carlito?

The ECW guys getting their own PPV was a nice con job, and I'm sure it thrills the rest of the TNA regulars. It's hard to blame the ECW crew for scoring another big check, I'm sure they can use it. I just don't think they can go anymore, at least not on their own. Foley being on the card and not as guest referee might help.

I don't think anyone would have had a problem if the ECW guys came in as a faction, not invaders but just a crew. We could all get semi hard to see them face Nash, Sting or some other mainstreamer from back in the day.

This card is really loaded with some low level ECW guys.

RVD and Raven win, there's a catfight, Sabu hurts himself.

So only two matches for Hardcore Justice have been announced and one has to be scrapped?

You know what would be great? If they did an Extreme Elimination Chamber and Bobby Lashley won it.

And then the pay per view goes off the air half an hour early.

On the plus side, they'd get some "TNA" chants.

Guess I'll make my predictions...

HARDCORE JUSTICE

Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn
No matter who they announce to replace Jerry Lynn, Rob Van Dam wins.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven
Tommy Dreamer, since he never wins.

THE WHOLE F'n SHOW

Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss
Rob Van Dam wins.

Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles
Angle wins to keep going through the Top 10. I'm guessing this isn't for AJ's TV title?

Angelina Love vs. Madison Rayne
Angelina wins.

Jeff Hardy vs. ???
Jeff Hardy.

D'Angelo Dinero vs. Matt Morgan vs Mr. Anderson
I'll pick the Pope. He needs a win the most.

Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money
MCMG.

Good news, according to TNAwrestling.com: They've replaced Lynn!

Bad news: They've replaced him with "The Human Spot Blowing Machine" Sabu. Yay.

The only way this show could suck more is if Simon Diamond's entourage showed up.

Rob Van Dam vs. Sabu? Aw, man, now I wish I could see that, just for the car crash potential. I mean, I could see it, but I won't.

Although, disclosure, I was originally supposed to be in Orlando this weekend on vacation, and if I were, I'd be in line at the Impact Zone right now.

We are getting it and its mainly due that even though there is football on, its two teams, the wife and I hate as well as maybe a down of actual starters playing. RVD vs. Sabu should be good and Sabu actually has a history with TNA. I am more into it for the car crash factor and the simple fact there is nothing else to do tonight.

Picks

-RVD

-Raven

Impact Saturday

Didn't get a chance before the PPV, but at least I can get in my free-per-view picks. Not that I have much of a clue...

RVD. Now that they've got ECW nostalgists watching, they'll keep RVD front and center.

Angle. No need to end the angle.

Angelina. Just to get a title switch in.

Hardy over whomever.

Anderson.

Guns. It's been a long time since I've had any faith that they'd give Sabin and/or Shelly a big win, but for some reason my gut says they will here.

This week's show is opening hot, as the Lucha Dragons put their titles up against Blake and Murphy as promised last week. Blake and Murphy get an actual entrance, finally, with super-intense dubstep that makes everything they do seem extreme.
