I gotta say, that lasted 6 months longer than I thought it would.

I heard that The Band was getting stripped of the titles or something, so this isn't surprising. I mean, it wouldn't be surprising in any case, but you know what I mean.

They should have kept him around long enough to have Madison Rayne end his career.

As clear a picture of simultaneously being "almost" and "too much." Not that I think any further in-ring elevation could prevent his offscreen problems, but he had more chances than he deserved, and I hoped too much he'd have one last hurrah.

God, I sound like I'm eulogizing.

[applause]

I always liked Scott as a performer, but giving him a job when there was no reason to think he was on the wagon was just stupid.

I don't see why (Crosby Stills) Nash and Young couldn't have jobbed out the title, though. I never like it where they declare the title vacant when it isn't really necessary.

This may be meme of the century.

Another pink slip, for the good guy.

I believe this was Hall's 4th run with TNA. I would say hopefully they're not dumb enough to bring him back but I've said that three times before. Nash and Young imo should have dropped the titles to The MCMG because we all know whoever The Guns will face at the next ppv will beat them.

Damn that sucks, How is going to get beer money now? Doing bingo hall gigs again? However I don't blame the WWE for not calling him up anytime soon either. The last thing Vince McMahon needs is a drunk in the company while his wife is running for Senate.

Good Luck Scott whatever happens to you.

I'd like to say that Scott will think of this as a wake-up call and use it as motivation to get his life together, but that ship sailed long ago.

Still, he needs to get himself fixed-- or he's not liable to live very much longer.

If they bring back Scott Hall next year, the blogosphere will be talking about it, and people will watch it.

Old washed up stars re-debuting is always a hit... sure, it usually doesn't last long once the glamour is worn off, but it still works as a cheap gimmick to get attention.

If TNA signed Jake Roberts tomorrow, people would tune in to watch him.

Is Waltman still missing in action?

Hall looked amazingly bad. He wasn't even pulling off 'cool' sleezy drunk guy anymore.

He got diagnosed with Hep C, so TNA won't use him anymore. (That's why he missed the Lockdown PPV, because Missouri wouldn't license him; I believe that's how he found out.)

The Torch just reported that Waltman was officially released this week too.

The guy does plenty of indy shows so he won't starve anytime soon. No he won't make as much as did in TNA but he'll have plenty of coing to buy as many beers as he wants.

Didn't Bob Orton have that a few years ago? Back when Randy was feuding with The Undertaker and Bob got involved and ended up blading in a cage match Vs The Undertaker. Back in '05.

Also, it references a similar comment made in reference to ODB's quitting the company.

I say it's a work. If it was for real they would have fired him under his real name (Hall Scottson)!

That's what we've been saying about Jake 'The Snake' Roberts for years. The sad truth is that like Roberts, this really won't be his "last call". He will get hired by some other fed and probably will humiliate himself in public once again while batshit drunk. Some people will never learn.
