I finally got out little plot of land tilled up and am planting watermelon, cantelope, yellow squash, two kinds of zuccini, and strawberries.

Any other W's working a home garden this summer? What are you growing? Any advice you could give a novice like me?

Great topic.

I'm trying to start a garden, but the Edmonton weather has been really bizarre. I've planted sunflowers, pak choy, and carrots; I also have seeds for oregano, tomatoes, peppers. and radishes.

The dandelions are growing wonderfully well, I have to admit. :(

not much of one. Herbs - chives, rosemary, sage, thyme

and tomatoes and peppers. That's it.

Suburban, you know. Small, very tree shaded yard

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I am growing a lot of weeds at the moment... and some parsley that will not die. I also had a zombie potato come back from the dead.

The success of 2008 made me overdo it in 2009 and more equalled less in the long run. So this year I have cut back.

13 kinds of tomatoes - 7 kinds of sweet peppers - 5 kinds of hot peppers - 2 kinds of beans - 2 kinds of cucumbers - butternut squash - patty pan squash - yellow squash - zucchini - beets & some red sail lettuce that looks a lot like Oscar Gamble.

I think my kids are trying to kill me

Lots of variety in my Northern garden...

2 kinds of beans, potatoes, carrots, basil (lots and lots for pesto all winter), dill, radishes, 3 kinds of tomatoes, garlic, onions, peas, 2 kinds of lettuce. Also chives and potted versions of coriander and oregano.

Really wish I could convert the entire yard into garden, but the kids really like the pool...

Just actually put the chicken wire around to keep my little neighborhood bunny from eating all the leaves off my new bean plants.

Not to mention the flower gardens, which my wife sort of looks after, but I end up weeding. Roses, Clematis and peonies all in bloom right now.

Is this who you wanted me to be?

Well it's not me

I never really watched wrestling very much, may be a little, but certainly not to the extent most people here did. I haven't really watched any in years, although I did make a short trip back to watch Rocky earlier this year...
