Sharks, obviously. Kim has mercifully yielded what little has remained of her Blackhawks loyalty to unite our household. (I haven't yet heard from AWARulz if a wager is involved in this series...)
The East is a real pick 'em. I don't expect EITHER of these teams to win.... I think I have to take the Canadiens.
Blackhawks in 6. Flyers in 4. I am sticking with my early prediction that the Canadians used up their goodwill to get here and then get destroyed by the Flyers.
preferred order of preference: 1 Sharks - Heatley is butt but I feel the teal 2 Hawks - the feud with Hossa has been squared up 3 Canadiens - like their players but I don't want their fans to be happy 4 Flyers - unacceptable
predictions: Hawks in 7 Canadiens in 5
What Philadelphia did was amazing and hilarious, but they did it to a mediocre Boston team that lost Sturm and Krejci.

Why must you deny me happiness? I want to be happy.
I'll refrain from actual predictions, because that has served me well this playoffs. Everyone whose been here for the last eight years should know who I *want* to win at this point.
You know, I really don't know what to put here. Close your eyes and thank of something funny!
It's pretty exciting: Either the Sharks will win their first Stanley Cup ever, the Canadiens their first since '93, the Flyers their first since '75, or the Blackhawks their first since '61.
Even though I'm an American, I'd like to see a Canadian team win, since it's been awhile. But in good conscience I can't root for the Canadiens; sorry, guys, but I can't respect the way their fans seem to riot after every playoff series victory.

A lot of Pens fans thought like that after the Capital series.
Kind of a johnny come lately Hockey fan, but have been enjoying the Blackhawks this year, so I hope they win. I haven't seen any of the other teams play yet, so I have no idea who wins or loses, just want to see Big Buf hit a few more people. And I want to say Habs a few more times. Even though I had to ask members of my Canadian class what it meant.
plus, Zed and I have been cross twittering - me for the Hawks and him for the Sharks - for two rounds. and that's been fun too.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I didn't. I expected Halak to still be in God Mode (game 1 notwithstanding). But then, I tend to be a pessimist, so I honestly felt the series was 50/50 going into it.
I just didn't expect MAF to shit the bed the way he did in Game 7, or give up a goal on the first shot of the game as many times as he did this entire playoff.
I'm not a big fan of any of the teams left, and I'm not sure if there's a guy on any of them who I'd like to see win the cup at all. Maybe Gagne, but as a Pens fan, I can't in good conscience root for the Flyers (especially with Scott Hartnell and Dan Carcillo wearing the orange).
I am half way there with my prediction, but they still have to play 2 games in Montreal, so we will see. The Flyers have bullied the hell out out of the Canadians this series. Blackhawks need to finish their business at home and then they are on their way to the Stanley Cup. I wish I could I say I watched all of the game last night, but I need sleep for work in the morning that and San Jose's offense in the first period was making me drowsy.

Well this all checks out. What I failed to realize is that what Philadelphia did was amazing and hilarious, and they did it without Carter and with their 7th and 8th string goalies. And that Montreal's trick defense works on star-heavy offenses but not diversified attacks.
It was a great run, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Philly was simply the better team. We'll have some work to do in the off-season, such as trying to figure out if Halak is the real deal or not.
