I don't care who wins - it might as well go 7 and have lots of overtimes. Howzaboutyou?
Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you... The last three times we had a top 2 seed in one conference and a deep underdog in the other conference (Devils vs. Ducks in '03, Lightning vs. Flames in '04, Hurricanes vs. Oilers in '06) the series was ultimately won by the favorite on their home ice in Game 7. Don't see any reason to break the pattern; Blackhawks take it in seven.
smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; June 18, 2006) While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.
Hoping for a Chicago win, but will definitely settle for a great 7-game series.

So does Kim get to reclaim her Hawks loyalty for the finals?
Hawks in 6. Niemi has been on his game, and with a solid goalie I don't think this Hawks team can be stopped.

Perhaps that will be the impetus they need? I can't imagine anyone really looks at that statistic. Then again, it is Toronto.
I have nothing against Marion Hossa personally, but a sick part of me thinks it would be funny to see him lose three straight SCF with three different teams.
However, I am in fact picking the Blackhawks to win, in six games. I just hope it's an entertaining series.
I really hope it goes 7.. these types of scrappy underdog teams vs high powered higher seeds SCFs have gone to 7 lately. Much better than the 90s where every one was a sweep.
That being said, I'll be the first to call the upset. Flyers in 7.
I have been calling a lot of the winners right, the games not so much. I am thinking Blackhawks in 6, it will be scrappy near the end, but I think the Hawks will find a way the first two games and then the Flyers will come back only to lose game 4, but win 5. I just hope the Flyers don't win, Philly fans around here ie my wife and in-laws are going to be impossible to put up with if they do.

I'm with you on that one. It would be hilarious. The only thing that make it funnier is if he only had a one year contract with Chicago, they lose the cup finals and then teams avoid him like the plague becuase he has a Stanley Cup curse.
As I have said before, I am a sort of new fan. I have only watched the Flyers play twice, both against the Canadians, who I have found out are also the Habs, and even know why.
Yeah, I am rooting for the Blackhawks. That Niemi seems amazing in the goal and Byfuglien is pretty amazing in front of the net, while guys like Kane and Sharp and Bolland and Hossa and Toews seems like they are always in the mix.
But who wins? I dunno. I couldn't tell you one Flyers' name. I know they have a reputation of being rough and tough, but are they as tough as Keith? The guy lost 7 teeth and still led the team in minutes.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

Even though I predicted that Chicago will win I am kinda rooting for Philly. Mike Richards played junior here for the Rangers, was captain of the team here and led them to the OHL Championship and the Memorial Cup. He also won the Calder Cup in the AHL. So the only thing missing for him right now is the Stanley Cup, it'd be nice to see.
I was definitely entertained, even moreso that the Blackhawks won. Would like to think that casual fans stayed with the broadcast due to all the scoring as well.

If you follow hockey, you're certainly aware of his accomplishments - Three Jack Adams awards with three different teams, a Stanley Cup Championship, etc etc.
