I honestly thought Tina Fey would be the one with the most defenders.

    Check the profile pic, son!

I believe that's called Nerd Hot. She's been in my Top 3 for years now, too.

It would be just as much of a dress rehearsal for the camera crew. It is freaking tricky to capture the right angle (or choose which to show on the feed) on a live show if you have no idea how things are going to actually play out. There is a lot of "Oh damn, if camera 3 had only been four feet to the right..." in live shows.

      Alphaville.
I guess none of you dudes listened to Jay-Z in 2009 (The W at Amazon). (Not that I did either, but it DID hit the UK Top 40, so I eventually heard it)

I think it's safe to say I am FAR from Jay Z's demographic.

As for the hottest SNL women discussion, how can you leave out Nasim Pedrad? She's new, but she's right up my alley!

And, in "way back" cast members, anybody remember Beth Cahill?

I think the point was that we were talking about women who USED to be on the show that are hot. I started it off by refuting one person's point that Maya Rudolph was the hottest there is, was, or ever will be (or something like that).

But, if we were including current cast members, that's a pretty good pick. I think all three of the new women (Pedrad, Abby Elliott, and Jenny Slate) are pretty attractive. I can't recall the last time, if ever, three women that attractive and funny came onto the show all at the same time.

My original post gives props to the current cast, & this board has more than a couple posts by me talking about the current cast. Elliot may be the most adorable thing on TV, and Pedrad is the best ever. Period.

Also, I've always found Tina to be number 2 or 3 as far as past cast members go, but Maya won because, as a character in a movie Fey herself wrote once said, "I prefer women of color."

I work at 30 Rock and will say that during the dry run (earleir on Saturday) Betty White was flubbing/missing a few lines here and there. It was nothing too important as I have seen other guests do the same, but the feeling I got was that the extras were shot just in case she flubbed a scene and it took time to recoup.

I have met her in the past (Today Show) and she is the nicest lady. Friendly and classy. The electricity in the building prior to her show was unlike any I have been around. The fact that she nailed it so well under so much pressure is a testament to her REGARDLESS of her age. There have been countless other guest who stunk under less pressure (Charles Barkley - please step forward) than Betty White had. I do not think you will see a show hit on all cylinders from 12:30 to 1:00 like this one did for a long long time.

Life is hilariously cruel.

So I didn't know if I could buy into Walt Cummings as a sympathetic character at first, but Vanished has been pretty entertaining. My interest in the show was primarily due to the incredible collection 1990's era actresses that they're featuring:
