Through May 24, Valve is giving away PC and Mac copies of its critically acclaimed puzzle game.
I've got it downloading for my PC right now. If you want in on the free game action, just head on over.
Wow, this is very unfriendly to Macs....Steam is trying to dump everything into my Documents folder. I had to go into Terminal and create a symbolic link for "Steam Content" onto my external HD because no way do I have a spare 5G on my internal one:
(search users, here are those commands) # cd ~/Documents # ln -s /Volumes//Steam\ Content Steam\ Content
It's pretty annoying the developers didn't make it more easily configurable where Steam saves its data - at the VERY least, let me choose a different disk! COME ON
(Maybe some day I'll actually have time to play Portal and tell you what I think of IT! )

A couple things... God of War 3 is awesome... but... I'll save my more general thoughts about it for a different thread. Worth a play? HELL yes. Worth a buy? Subjective.
