A guy like Shelton would be great for ROH. He could finally bust out the good long matches that we all think he has in him.
If he were to go to TNA I can see it happen where they push him just to show that they care about what the fans want.
Then he disappears.

Knox' character, yes even the bearded yet calm psycho, had run its course. A few months ago they seemed to push him a bit, but they stopped that.

It's a shame about Mickie, but heh people expected her to be released six months ago. At least she got one more title reign out of it.

The others, simply trimming some fat. Yang and Funaki had some good runs, probably made some decent money too.
Burchille and SMJ were not used anyways.

I'd like to see Shelton and Charlie reunite with Kurt just to see what they'd have to call the team then...Team Kurt?

Mickie is the only one of the cuts that I really feel I'm gonna miss. As everyone's already posted, Shelton just didnt have any personality, hell, even the finishers he'd used during his WWE run were boring. Jimmy Wang Yang was usually always FFWD material just because of the gimmick alone, same with Funaki.

I guess the only other thing I'm gonna miss because of the cuts...is...

Godspeed, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Infantry, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, Wisconsin Army National Guard! Victory in Iraq!

C'mon, folks! Are we all forgetting about Shelton's breakout feud w/ HHH over those "fluke" defeats? He seemed to show plenty of personality then.

Give the man a mic and a decent storyline; he'll provide the OMG moments in the ring.

I still have a hard time NOT thinking of him as IC champ. If TNA hires anybody from this recent group of endeavours, it oughta be him...

...and Alexis Laree. :-)

A couple quick questions:
1. Isn't Mickie James her real name?
2. Can WWE copyright a person's real name?
3. If the answers to those are Yes and No, respectively, shouldn't we expect her to continue to be Mickie James wherever she turns up, given that "Mickie James" is now (presumably) much more popular than "Alexis Laree" ever was?

1. Yes, her real name is Mickie Laree James.
2. I would imagine not.
3. Probably.

Yes, she can keep "Mickie James" because that it her real name. That's why Devon Dudley kept his first name, because his real first name is actually Devon.
